I want to let you in on a little secret, Clark. I'm not who you think I am. In fact, my disguise is so thin, I'm surprised you haven't seen right through me. I'm the girl of your dreams masquerading as your best friend. Sometimes I want to rip off this façade like I did at the Spring Formal, but I can't because you'll get scared and you'll run away again. So I decided that it's better to live with a lie than expose my true feelings. My dad told me there are two types of girls: the ones you grow out of, and the ones you grow into. I really hope I'm the latter. I may not be the one you love today, but I'll let you go for now, hoping one day you'll fly back to me. Because I think you're worth the wait.

probably to get final closure on her feelings for clark to make everything out in the open and cleared so her pending marriage to jimmy can go on without any worries. But we all know their wedding is probably not going to actually go down for what ever reasons they come up with.

Yeah, final closure... Apparently they are rumors out there that Chloe/Jimmy is going to have a wedding for later in the season. I guess it would be right for Jimmy and Clark to final talk about how Chloe feels about both of them. I mean we could actually have a wedding without an alternate motive. (Lexana and Lex's other wedding).

Hell I want a Clark/Lois best man, maid of honor dance scene!

yea as others and i said its closure on chloe's feelings towards clark, were he and chloe stand as friends, and how jimmy feels about it all. And really i doubt jimmy/chloe wedding will go through either she will call it off, jimmy will call it off, or something else will happen and they dont go through with it.

I have a feeling that Chloe will be killed off this season and so I could see them getting married but she dies on the honey moon and that is the final straw for Clark to stop dorking around and go fullfill his destiny and become Superman. Just my two cents...

its possibly but it all really counts on what her powers do and all that. If you look at things her powers could make her "immortal" like clark is.

UPDATED 7/25/08: It sounds like "Melissa" was indeed just a ploy to throw us off, and the intergalactic Maxima is indeed the one to appear in this episode.
- Justin Hartley (Oliver) and Sam Witwer (Davis Bloome) do not appear in this episode.
- The resurfacing of the "Fever" letter might lead Clark to realize what he's missing out on.

Sweet so glad its actually going to be maxima, i hope they cast a sexy gal and she has good chemistry with tom.

I like that Maxima is showing up, I have waited for them to have her make things complicated for Clark for the past few seasons.

I like that they will be referencing Chloe's letter, but I hope it doesn't lead to a Clark/Jimmy/Chloe thing.

Well for olli/GA they said he is only going to be in 12/13 episodes and now with the pattern from ep 1-4 he does look like he is only going ot be appearing every other episode. As for maxima i am so glad its actually going to be her. I said this before i hope they get a very sexy actress for the role and she has good chemistry with tom. Someone said before they would like the actress who plays rachael on one tree hill she would be totally hot for the role.

I seriously hope so, because all this Chloe/Jimmy/Doom/Clark is depressing me LOL. Thats all we need is Clark in a triangle (or sorry, square) with someone who a. He doesn't even end up with, b. Shouldn't even be in a love competition with, and c. someone who kills him eventually.. it just does not make sense...

Seriously they are all doing happy dances over at k-site, never giving a thought to the fact that these spoilers are for the first 4 episodes and that this arc will likely be over mid-season.

Yea i may love chloe and clark as characters and i know a romance is likely not going to be happening. That ship has sailed a long time ago. I though cant wait to see what is the outcome of the "fever" letter coming out and how/if it changes their relationship and then maxima.

Nah, theres really nothing to worry about. Let them be crazy, there just in denial.

Look in order for Clark/Chloe to realize they will never be together you need stuff like this to happen. Get everything out in the air. Thus why Chloe is supposedly having a triangle of her own(hate triangles).
