8.08 - Bloodline - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Please stop buddy. This will not end well. Here, I'll save about 8 posts. This is what the following people will say about this idea.

Agent Pat: (will post a pic of a cute cat with the words) "NOOOOOOOOOOO"

Brainiac 8: "This isn't BUFFY! Clark don't SING!"

Kaboom: "What Brainy said!!"

Serene: " I don't want Clark singing during a battle then some krypto-freak using a stick of Kryptonite as a glow stick, like he was dancing at a rave"

Triplet: "Tom is sexy. But not sexy enough to be in a muscial"

The Incredible Hulk: Ban/shoot/close/beat/smack/terminate ... Oh and no to the musical.

Prison Mike: "Muscial? PS3 isn't trying to win an emmy here! angry face."

Tomwelling4supes: "I support this man being Superman, not being Superman with a catchy jingle.''

BizarroAids: "Ummm, C. All of the above."

I'm just saying dude. It's not going to fly with alot of people in here. It works on other shows....but it' would be the lowest rated episode EVER.

I would never say that Tom isn't sexy enough for anything... he's the sexiest man on the planet.

So, that list is fairly accurate except for that.

;)

Dirty Dancing I can see.
Tom singing as Clark in...
Oklahoma - not much of a stretch.
Cats - hahahahaha. Which cat would each member of the cast be??? Man, I'd like to see this one.
Grease - would basically be Joe & Louise, except Tom/Joe would also be the Angel in the maltshop scene (but flying w/o wings).
West Side Story - Clark's gang vs. Lex's/Tess' - could work.

I think the "not sexy enough" comment refers to how much we, the audience, might be cringing at the vision of Tom, as Clark, singing his heart out onscreen. I have no idea if he can sing well and it would be embarrassing to watch whether he can or not. "Lana, please don't leave meeeeeee again..."

I can't believe this thread went from talking about Bloodline to talking about a potential musical episode. Thanks b24!

I must say that this was a really good episode, and I especially loved the scene in the end when Davis tried to stab himself and the knife shattered. Really cool. And it´s cool that they have Sam playing him since he is also in Star Wars, which I also love! anyway, great episode, can´t wait for when we get to see Doomsday.

hey trip just read your review for the episode. Very good once again. As i have said before i do enjoy reading your reviews and seeing your opinion on things and learning of who does some of the production end of things that we dont really ever really know. Since i want to get into production side of things in tv/film(camera operator,etc....).

Thanks...

I got a nice PM from a guy who works in visual effects down in LA. Interesting guy, he appreciated that I point that stuff out.

He'd actually been offered a job from Entity to work on SV before it moved to their new division based in Vancouver, but he was working a film at the time and couldn't take it.

He straightened me out on a couple of things, he clarified the difference between Visual Effects and Special Effects. They're not interchangeable terms and I think I'd been using them that way...

Special F/X are practical effects done on set.

Visual F/X are digital ones added later...

FYI

Here's the link for the review for anyone who hadn't read it:

Got a couple of PMs from people taking exception to my less than glowing reviews of Erica and Laura...

*shrug*

I just call 'em the way I see 'em.....

thats cool to hear trip, yea i want to get into the production game, more on the end of camera work as i stated before, but i would like to get my hands into other production stuff like editing, sfx work, and maybe once i am a bit older and wiser on things producing/directing stuff.
