Well all I can say is, how convenient for the current administration, seeing as how before Bush even became president, the P.roject for the N.ew A.merican C.entury stated in their writings that they felt it was necessary for America to return to Iraq for reasons of oil and begining to "stabilize" the Middle East, but that it would be difficult to get the support of the American public for such action short of the event of "a catastrophic 'Pearl Harbor' - type attack on Americans".
Key members of P.N.A.C., Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz
So, regardless of what any of those three said in public, it's a simple fact, by their own admission, that they were glad to see 9/11 happen.
Especially in light of the fact that, um, Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11, but the post 9/11 fervor was used to try and justify being there. Colin Powell's own former Chief of Staff, Lawrence Wilkerson has been repeatedly interviewed saying that the White House knew very well that there were no WMD's, and put the pressure on to try and make it sound as if there were, so that they could invade Iraq.
SoooOOOOoo convenient.
