A Hard Day's Night (Beatles Movie)

Dedicate that song to the right someone, and you may just end up with a lady friend.
Good point.:word:

One of my favorite parts of Help! is when the air dryer in the bathroom malfunctions, and everyone gets caught up in the resulting hilarity.

And then, of course there's that ridiculous fight at their flat.:D

Sundance Channel was just airing Help! You know...its not a bad movie. Its really good actually. The photography and editing were excellent. The songs were great. However...its just too over the top. You feel like you're watching an episode of the Monkees or something.

haha,Yeah the movies are too over the top for me...but I think it was the Monkees TV show that was trying to imitate those movies.

There's three type of musicians.

1. Those who are actors and musicians.
2. Those who are actors and musicians, but suck at acting or suck at both professions.
3. Those who are musicians and cashing in on their success by making a movie.

The Beatles aren't actors. I think they knew this more than anyone else, but instead of "pretending" they decided to have some fun with it. I think thats what makes A Hard Day's Night and Help! so great. It was just something fun for their fans. And it was also a way to get to know them better.

This is one of my favorite songs--no one writes songs like this anymore. :csad:

I also love these scenes in the theater when they keep tormenting the director ("I won an award!").

I really liked their harmony stuff like that too. Vocal harmonies are something you don't get in rock anymore.

Good song, but not the best. Hard Day's Night, Should Have Known Better, and Can't Buy Me Love are better.

Actually, I have always kind of disliked Can't Buy Me Love. Now, the version off of Anthology? Now THAT is awesome. A lot more acoustic, a tad more bluesy.

Okay, disliked is a strong word. BUT, there isn't a single Beatles song you don't like? Be serious now.

There's several Beatles songs I dislike (some I even hate) but Can't Buy Me Love is a great song, dammit! :cmad: :oldrazz:

Can't Buy Me Love is a GOOD song, with an okay hook. Now Things We Said Today? If I Fell? Great, BRILLIANT songs.

Can't Buy Me Love?

Just good.;)

Is this the version you like?

Yep, that's it. Sounds a lot more raw, and you can't beat John and George's singing in the background.

But hey, the take they chose is still just fine.

"I now declare this bridge, open." *snip*
