Here are a few of the reasons I don't like Supes

To Powerful
Even though he is so powerful he gets beat on alot because he neglects some of his greatest powers.
I havn't really seen much depth to the charecter not nearly as much as I like in my comics.
The comic overall seems a little boring I mean aside from the two or three villians that are mildly entertaining it pretty much lacks any form of entertainment for me.
All of his supporting charecters really bother me not one of them is even the slightest bit interesting.
His biggest villian is a freaking human.(Don't get me wrong I actually like Lex thats just weird though.)
Sometimes he is far to cheesy and just kind of lame mostly in the older comics but some times some of the newer stuff is borderline on being that way.
How come people actually have trouble finding out who the guy is? Seriuosly his disguise is reading glasses.

I know that it is hard to accept for you that not every one shares your opinion on every thing but believe me it happens.

Not as much character depth as you would like? What do you consider enough character depth?

Pretty s***ty reasons.

Enough to actually be considered depth. To say there is depth in superman is like saying that the sun is purple. In my opinion.

Wow I have been to some pretty bad forums but this forum takes the cake a lot of *******s that can't accept that people dont agree with every word they say. Of course some of you have to act this way because in real life you get walked on by every one so this is your only chance to act like some one important. SO congrats to all of you. You have won the internet, but you failed at life.

Meh, I've got to agree these are pretty lame reasons, but hey, that's your perogative. I still suggest you read Superman: Secret Identity though. If you don't like Superman after that, you're a lost cause. ;)

Also, trust me, the glasses work. If you don't believe me, see the old Superman movies.

I fail to see what is wrong with these reasons

The others were just small things when added on just ruined it for me but these are the big reasons. Ill never understand why you freak out because I am not a mindless clone of you. Seriously i don't care if you dislike my comics just as long as you are respectfull but you guys are anything but respectfull toward me just because I don't like Superman. Kind of pathetic

How have I been disrespectful to your opinions? I called them lame? Boohoo. I could've cussed it all out, but instead of being a dick, I decided to recommend you something that you might like, since Superman: Secret Identity is full of character depth, but if you choose to ignore that and accuse me of trying to make you a mindless clone of yourself...

Well, goodday to you sir.

haven't you thought that maybe, just maybe, they are just kidding? i mean, it's not all that serious, and i respect your reasons, superman is cool, but if you don't like him that's cool too:up:

Wow it's nice to see some one who doesn't cry just because I don't like one of their favirote comics.

They weren't kidding they did the same thing to me two days ago because I am not in love with wonder woman. They can't accept that I don't like the same comics.

oh...that sucks, but forget about it, stand up and shout!!!!!!!! and just keep on posting...and by the way, i'm in love with wonder woman too

No big deal I don't care who you are a fan of If you like supes and Wonderwoman that's good on you mate. I don't see why they feel the need to try and convert me.

TO be honest I usually prefer Marvel but I am a huge Batman fan and I kind of like Lantern.

funny you like those too, specially since they don't preciselly like each other, but it happens, btw, have you read "Marvels"?

Actually Batman and Hal Jordan have restored their friendship in Green Lantern #9. In Infinite Crisis #6 Batman trusted Hal Jordan and John Stewart with his and others lives and Hal Jordan took him out of the deorbiting Brother Eye satelite. Hal Jordan will be the Green Lantern to join the new Justice League of America. Alan Scott was one of Batman's childhood heroes. Batman shows respect to Kyle Rayner.

As a matter in fact, the only Green Lantern Batman has a problem with is Guy Gardner, and that's because Guy Gardner is an ass

oh, that's nice, i didn't know that (except the part of guy being an ass), thx...and guy IS an ass

A hairy ass (*nudge*nudge) :p

hope you don't mind my asking...but HOW exactly do you know it's hairy...?

i hope he threw a batarang in it...btw anubis, i liked your previous avvy more

Me too, but I felt it was time for a change. I'm working on putting together a Luke Cage one, until then, it's beware the king.

I had never put down your right to have an opinion, It's just a couple of years ago I too disliked Superman. Becuase he is cheesey, and a boy scout dosen't make him a lame character. Maybe you just have to mature more to appreciate the type of character Superman is. If you don't like him thats fine I couldn't care less. I was just trying open your mind to some good stories.

:supes:

See this is exactly what I am talking about

"have to mature more"

You are basically saying that if you don't like superman you arn't mature. I don't know if you intend this or if you just don't realize the things you say before you say them but you are very insulting.

Is that a comic ? I read Marvel comics as in xmen, Wolverine, Iron Man, Punisher, and some times Avengers but never heard of a comic named marvels. Whats it about?

To stupify,

Read Kingdom Come,Red Son,and For All Seasons.

If you still think Supes lacks depth after that,I would be surprised.
