To be honest I can't stand superman either just not a fan of his. Of course im not a big fan of DC I only like a select few charecters I usually prefer Marvel.

I can understand people not liking Superman, but to say that Batman can defeat Superman in combat is rediculous, especially when DCU cannon has it the other way around.

I would say it depends on the situation obviously Superman could kill Batman in about 5 seconds if he wanted to but if Batman planned it out in advance I believe he could take out superman. Not in a one on one actual fight of course but he is smart if he planned to fight supes he would bring some Kryptonite which kills superman unless of course it's Singers Superman.

I wasn't refering to Superman Returns. Superman Returns is not in cannon with the DCU. I was talking about stories such as Infinite Crisis, Up, Up, & Away, and others where Superman has dealt with large amounts of kryptonite, lived and was victorious.
