I would like to see it but not so futuristic as the show

It has "Batman" in the title. That's all it would need for general audience recognition. The "Beyond" part would probably be seen as just another subtitle like "Batman Returns," "Forever," etc. They'd see the trailer, and it would show them Batman in the future. That's all they'd need to sell it, imo.As much as I'd be curious to see such, it doesn't make any business sense. Batman Beyond wasn't enough of a commercial success to warrant such, and beyond Bat-fandom, it virtually doesn't even exist.

Not to knock on West, but he just isn't suited for old Bruce Wayne the way he's meant to be in Batman Beyond.why can't west play old man bruce he is the age for it. you aren't looking for a guy who is in shape or people will be why not still be batman. you need a guy who is old and out of shape. old man bruce was a hunchback. also i like the futuristic aspect of batman beyond. bruce wayne in batman beyond is a more badass version of alfred what's not to like?
Didn't stop Mask of the Phantasm bombing.
Eastwood might do it if he was given a huge check and a chance to direct, but would never do any kind of sequel.

Adam West is more of a campy actor, while an actor to play Wayne needs to be able to portray a far more grim, sad, and pathetic interpretation of the character. An actor more along the lines of Clint Eastwood, not Adam West.
Also, to compare old Bruce Wayne to Alfred is just wrong. Alfred is a much bigger badass than old Bruce Wayne. Old Bruce Wayne was sad and pathetic. He represented how someone who represented pinnacle human perfection can be brought down, not only by nature, but by pushing away everyone he ever loved with his obsession. It goes along with the interpretation of Batman in BTAS where even though he's over his parents' death and had people like Alfred and Dick Grayson by his side, Bruce Wayne is just a very sad man. The viewer is meant to pity Bruce Wayne, not be awed by him.
Being Batman is what made Bruce more sad and pathetic.you misunderstand. old bruce is terry's alfred, but he was batman. that is what makes him more badass.
Almost everything Adam West has done is campy. Not that it's a bad thing because when done right, camp is a lot of fun and Adam West does a great job at it. I love Adam West, but unless he's playing an old Bruce Wayne from the 1960's Batman TV show, he's really not appropriate to play old Bruce Wayne that Batman Beyond requires.also west is an ACTOR so just because he did campy he can not do anything else? at least let him have a read through. im sure he has built up some surliness from being batman over the years. anyway it was just a suggestion that i felt someone needed to throw out there.
Gosh, they are supercool posters
