Pretty sure he's rubbing spices into the skin lolWell at least he's trying to make them comfortable in death.![]()
what's that have to do with anything? lol In Illinois for example, I've heard of people not rebuilding on the same spot as a burnt down house because it's bad luck. Tho until moving to Arkansas, I'd never heard of leaving a BROOM at the old house as to not bring bad luck with into the new housenope. just sharing some old fashioned southern remedies that most don't know about

...I've honestly never heard of this.
why not? he's had a strong proclivity for supporting Dany from day one and has definitely made moves to help her along the way
his past is such a mystery (as far as i can tell, again haven't read books yet) that i could see him having some dragon blood in his dna
I've heard of it... but I can't do it. Sleeping with socks on sounds awful enough. i can't sleep with constrictions and at least one fan on lol
Sleep in the nude? Make sure your dong doesn't touch the fan.
My thoughts on the Spider, and this is just me spit balling from what I know of the show...
Varys has been on the level describing his past. The troupe of actors and mummers the whole bit. He was gelded, root and stem and left to die. He rose in the world of shady deals and thievery, discovering that being a master of secrets was more profitable and less labor intensive than going out and actually stealing himself.
I want us to put ourselves in the shoes of a man that had such a vital part of life taken from him and then was left for dead. I think that Varys is no idealist but he also has great wells of empathy. He sees things others don't since the distractions of family and sex ect. are more or less theoretical to him and don't hold the power they do over others. Can he be cold blooded? Absolutely. But he isn't just a cold hearted SOB. He knows what it's like to be weak and be preyed upon by the powerful. If he takes interest in a conflict it's because he is looking in some way to aid the side that will in the long run do the least harm and the most good for the weak and oppressed of Westeros. He doesn't let idealism blind him in any way. LIfe's lessons to him have been harsh. He, however, can't stand by and see only senseless destruction, waste or cruelty descend on the masses. There's part of me that thinks he was scheming to take out the Mad King himself before the King's own excess and insanity did the job for him.
I've heard of certain liquids absorbing through the feet faster than anywhere else because they ARE more porous, just never vapo-rub lolshame! lol
it's probably an old wives tale but we've always used it that way
it could be psychosomatic or whatever, but it feels like it is absorbed into the body faster, plus you know all your blood flow travels from head to toe and back, so maybe your lil blood cells strap from on their back, and carry it up into your big ol head haha
fun fact: the town my family is from, is where Vicks was created lol
On the show, he's definitely not a Blackfyre and probably is just guy with great intentions. In the books though...

yes, please share

Everything he said about being castrated as a child by a Mage/Warlock/Priest is true, though he neglected to say that it's likely he was chosen because he has King's blood, via one of the Blackfyre pretenders,( a line of Targaryen bastards who wanted to steal the throne) and that his sister was the mother of the young man claiming to be Aegon Targaryen. His close friend Illyrio is probably his brother-in-law and father of the boy.
ive read 49 this year so far
and 2 others i stopped because they were just dreadful
ASoIaF is on my queue though
Mind... Blown.
Given what we have seen of magic and the relation to royal blood that would indicate the possible noble parentage of Varys. The show hasn't gone int the Blackfyre's and probably never will. Still, that's a great theory.
Pizza recipe books don't count lol.
lol i dont even own a cook book
i usually read 40-60 books/graphic novels a year
i just finished a duology last night that was pretty good, and between those 2 books, i've ready about 900-1000 pages in a week
