A New and Even Corpulenter Art Thread

Ironically, I've drawn about four half-finished versions of Aquaman in the past week. After you showed me those toys of the new modern Aquaman and I thought they sucked, I started trying to come up with a combination of Aquaman's costume and the Aquanewb's armor that would look better on Orin. I haven't gotten my scanner working yet, however, so it may be a while before I post them.

Alas, no. It's incompatible with Vista and I'm too lazy to downgrade from Vista back to XP, then reinstall everything. Plus, I don't have Photoshop anymore. Right now, on the off chance I have anything new to post, I'm scanning stuff at work and messing with the levels in Paint. I R teh ghetto.

Yeah, I can scan stuff at work and such. I've been pretty lazy lately, so I really haven't drawn much of anything worth showing since that Avengers pic Darthphere asked me to do.

The group pics take me a long time, partly because they've got a lot of small details to draw and I'm generally trying a lot harder to make differentiate people's faces, partly because I'm a lazy procrastinator. That Avengers pic for Darthphere took, like, 2 days longer than it needed to because I decided to play video games and watch TV instead of actually working on it a lot of times.

A Scanner don't cost no 100 dollars. You could get a cheap one for less than 30 bucks you cheap,cheapo!

Pretty awesome redesign Corp. Badass even. The only thing i'm not sold on is the headband thing. It might look a little better with either nothing on the head, or a more regal crown or something.

but still, love it.

It's supposed to be a diadem. I guess I sort of got accustomed to the idea of warrior kings wearing diadems as a symbolic crown that won't get in their way while they're fighting from the Wheel of Time books. A guy in that series is a badass swordsman whose kingdom was destroyed, but he still wears a diadem to symbolize that he's the uncrowned king of a fallen kingdom.

Sweet I get that and what book did you say that was from wheel of time is it a comic or a book?

Novel series. It's huge, too--10 books so far with an 11th on the way, and they're each between 800 and 1200 pages. I only made it as far as the 8th book, myself.

There was a comic adaptation of a prequel novel called New Spring, but nothing for the main series.
