Exactly and to me thos 3 movies are the pinnacle of fantasy I can't see it getting better than that though i'm stoked about the hobbit!

With the Thor movie on the way, I've been wracking my brain lately trying to figure out how to make Sif not look like a total dork. I love the character, but all of her costumes have been pretty lame. So, after trying a bunch of things for the last couple days, this is what I finally came up with:

I think it'd stand up nicely alongside Coipel's more practical redesigns of Thor's cast in the current series.

(Sorry for the super-light scan, I scanned it at work and all I have here is Paint, which doesn't let you play with levels or contrast.)

The Pose makes it look like she should have a word bubble that says "So guy, what do you think of my new outfit?"

I like it, though.

Heh, yeah, it is a bit awkward. I wanted to show how that bit of cloth wraps around her hand between her fingers, though.

Wow, memories.

Well, since I entered a heavily manip'ed pic into the fan art contest for this month, I figured I'd post just the pencil art in here, for anyone who was curious to see it. I just scanned it and used GIMP to touch it up a bit (the original is smudgy as hell).
