Hey everyone tell me if you believe this is how we should teach future generations

Phys Ed
Social Skills
Math
First Aid
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Psychology

Youd be surprised how early kids can learn stuff. Everyone takes their ability to learn for granted. I remember learning how to use a computer when I was 6. What was stopping me from learning when I was 4? Nothing. So whats stopping a kid from learning a dumbed down version of Physics, or Chemistry.

The one thing I do think they should stress on new kids is Phys Ed, Social Skills and First Aid. It would help prevent so much crap in the future. Like I cant help wondering if the kids of Columbine would have not been so disgruntled if they were taught how to be popular, or just be social. And now theres this shooting in Montreal, what if that kid was listened to? Would he have been better off? I think he would have been.

But also the First Aid. How many live do you think could have been saved if they were able to make just a couple more minutes. This could have been done by someone knowing how to stop an artery from squirtin out blood.

Im behind this 100% but I dont know where to start it, but I do know how to start ideas and maybe someone will read this and bring it up somewhere where it can make a difference.

That probably wont happen, but I still gotta try.

There's only so much that can be learned about being social. Some people are just naturally more comfortable with people.

Aren't these subjects already taught?

I still think duck and cover is an essential skill to be teaching kids, especially with the state of the world at the moment :cwink:

I'm a firm believer that maybe (just maybe) some people are just plain crazy. The kids who shot up Columbine High School were part of a fairly large social clique; social classes would've solved jack-diddly. I knew someone who was horribly unsociable and played violent videogames, and it turned out the guy couldn't bring himself to killing some insects. Kids who shoot up schools don't need lessons in social behavior; they need institutionalization.

However, a Social Skills class would make for a nice way for kids to learn how to climb up the social ladder, which comes in handy when you become an ass-kissing, working adult.

It's got nothing to do with social skills. Taking another life is one of the hardest things a person can EVER do. If you can do that whether or not you were popular is moot. There's a reason why these kids are in the minority. It's the same thing as parents complaining about video games :whatever: If the kid is capable of it it doesn't matter whether he was raised on resident evil or mary poppins. A killer is a killer is a killer
