A new Sonic game... that looks GOOD???!!!

I'm not getting hyped just yet. A game with Sonic can go either way.
 
I hear Secret Rings was good...havent picked it up yet though...

This game looks incredible though. I've been saying for years they should take Sonic back to being a sidescroller, where he worked best, but with updated graphics. New Super Mario Bros. for DS made me want this even more. And now they seem to have done it. I'm excited.
 
Oh, and this will fail...I just read....Sonic will be fighting a werewolf version of himself in this. A werewolf version. :o
 
And? Who gives a f**k what he's fighting as long as it's fun. I dont play Sonic, or Mario for that matter, for the deep, compelling story :rolleyes:
 
Haha. Do you seriously know how ****ing stupid a werewolf Sonic sounds? The game will suck..Sega hasn't made a decent Sonic game in a long time. It's going to take Nintendo buying out Sega to get the Sonic series straight.

You're playing a game about an anthromorphic, blue, super fast Hedgehog who fights an evil mad scientist who's obsessed with robots. He has a friend who is a flying fox with two tails, and another who is an echidna with rock hard knuckles. If you think that is fine, but a werewolf loses you, you're the one who's f**king stupid here, not the game.
 
That made no sense what so ever. A werewolf flies against everything that use to make the Sonic series good. You are the ****ing stupid one here. The things you described in a negative way are all classic elements of the series. What is wrong with nostalgia for a series? Werewolves fly against all of that. :o
 
So, what you want is the old games, exactly. Just play the old games. And a werewolf enemy doesnt really go against any old themes. Sonic has been fighting evil versions of himself since Sonic 2, with Robot Sonic. Just because Robotnik has expanded from robotics to genetic engineering doesnt matter. You want the game to suck. That's reall the problem here. You want it to either be EXACTLY like the old games, or you want it to be terrible.

Also, once again, who cares about the story in a game like this, as long as it's FUN to play? The entire concept of Sonic is ridiculous, but they're FUN when done right. All I want is FUN.

In no means do I want the old games. I want a healthy mixture of the first Sonic Adventure and the old school games. This will suck because Sega's track record says so. It's kinda like Lara Croft's rut a few years back, each Tomb Raider game after III until Legend sucked and people knew they would. Same with Sonic now, only much much worse.
 
I liked the Sonic Adventure games on Dreamcast.:huh:

As for this game, so far it looks and sounds good.:up:

Until we have more info on the game and a someone whos actually played it, you have no right to suggest that it's going to be a horrible game.

Did you play Sonic Rush on the DS? that was Sega making a good game.

Did you ever actually think they're introducing this warewolf chracter as a means to have an evil Sonic who isn't Shadow?
People like you complain about every character in the Sonic universe apart from 4. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Robotnik. Now it seems Sega are trying to fix it, and all you can do is bash it?

Get a ****ing grip, and wait for someone to at least play test it.

But whatever...and yes, I've played Sonic Rush, good game, but that's also pretty much old school Sonic.

As far as I'm concerned this game shows no promise. None so ever. I will continue to bash until I see something that says otherwise.

The only Sonic game coming out soon that shows promise is one not even being made by Sega, but Bioware. That tells you how much of a rut the series is in.
 
It LOOKS JUST LIKE OLD SCHOOL SONIC. It's a damn sidescroller for gods sake, just with 3D graphcis. What more do you want!?!?!?

Silver is a telekinetic hedgehog introed in that craptastic 360/PS3 game...and Shadow is the epitome of all that is wrong with the Sonic franchise along with him.
 
Bioware is making a Sonic RPG, which is looking to be quite impressive. Bioware is the maker of Starwars: Knights of the Old Republic (the first one) and that KOTOR won game of the year and best RPG of the year. Bioware also made Jade Empire, which was also really good, not as good as KOTOR but still good. I trust Bioware and I am sure they will make a good Sonic game.

BTW, I loved Sonic Adventure 1 & 2. *Hides behind flame shield*
