As much as I hate Venom, I hated the whole concept even more when they made my favorite villain (Scorpion) join with the symbiote. To me, it resulted in poor storytelling and seemed like something a fan fic writer would come up with. Eddie needs to regain the symbiote and Mac needs to become Scorpion once again and actually be written with the potential that he has.

Exactly. Marvel did two sins by taking two characters and combining them into one that just doesn't work well. A writer who actually knows the characters and have some respect for the characters can make both Eddie Brock as Venom and Mac Gargan as Scorpion into serious characters. They both need to return to their original forms, back when Venom was a beast and the Scorpion actually was a B+ listed menace.

That travesty of a story was so disappointing. From Camilla getting her own symbiote (wtf?!) to Gargan acting like a lunatic-coward at the end, to the writing saying that the Venom symbiote is, all of a sudden, a toxic organism. As far as I stand, Beyond! and Gargan's brief stints during Civil War is the only saving grace to the new Venom. Do something good with Gargan. Otherwise, bring back Brock.

Eddie Brock man. This isn't even a contest. McGargan needs to be the Scorpion and Eddie needs to be Venom. Also, when the hell is Carnage coming back? Since we already know he's too popular to kill off permanately.

What the hell happened to Scorpion's tail when the symbiote bonded with him? Admittedly, I haven't read the comics with that storyline, but all the pictures I've seen show no tail, and I've heard nothing in any description of him being "Scorpion-Venom" or having any added benefits of Symbiote + Tail. Explain?

Turns out Eddies crazy now. i wouldn't mind if Eddie dies a good death and then the symbiote just switches hosts for a while, like it was intended too. just get it off Gargan....
