She had to attend Anger Management classes for drop kicking an orderly.

Yeah it was the same episode where Lex took a golf club to the meter maid's car. He also had to attend Anger Management classes and that's when Lex and Helen kind of first started seeing each other.

They had met briefly prior to that when Jonathan broke his leg and Lex told Helen that he could bring in the best doctors to take care of him.

She scoffed at his arrogance initially but later warmed to him at the classes.
