It's like, hello, she's the Wicked Witch's sister, you just know it's gonna happen in some way. It's too funny of a point to not have it happen.

[/SPOILER]So it seems TWWotW is after the attributes of the Dorathy's OZ crew? Hmm... And someone got to her father before Emma's band could?

I think that given the preview
we will learn that Neal was somehow part of bringing Rumple back. I still think that in that missing year some very interesting alliances were made. Maybe Neal, Regina and The Witch?

Considering how the episode started off, I was hoping for more Emma/Charming than we ended up getting. Still, good episode. Wish we had been getting this kind of stuff from the start of the season.

Rapunzel didn't make much of an impression, but I am enjoying the hell out of Rebecca Mader as the Wicked Witch. She is totally owning the role. More of her please!

:raises hand:

It's that cherry red hair that does it for me

Yeah, she's kinda got that Nicole Kidman vibe going for her. For me its the accent which is so sexy.

Overall , I thought the episode was kinda odd, or at least oddly staged.

They better have one hell of a back story for the Witch beyond just "wah, my Mommy and Daddy didn't want me cuz I'm green."

Sure, it's not like Regina's reign of evil wasn't self indulgent either, but I hope for something in a different wheel house this time out.

So, Rumpelstiltskin is scarecrow because she took his mind and Charming is cowardly lion! Hook will be tin man and Regina Dorothy. Nice!

I think regina will obviously be the one missing the heart... She tried burying it already... I think you may be right about rumple though. And emma is clearly dorothy (she lost her home)

Well i think rumple being her father may be out now that she was slightly seductive with him in the cage and referenced a father... So i don't know what they're planning

The father she referenced could be the one that ended up raising her in Oz though. She mentioned to Regina that she was the way she was (green skinned/magical) because she was Cora and Rumple's child, correct? Though that could have been a lie, true. Still the blood magic thing points to her being at least Cora's child, and I'd say the rest is probably true too.

She mentioned rumple mentored her. Never mentioned fathering her

Just that he taught her magic

I'm not sure that I really even buy her being Cora's daughter, much less Rumple's. They were so forthcoming with that reveal, I'm almost waiting for it to turn out to be a red herring.

It was a little jarring that they just up and told us that. On the other hand, they don't have a whole lot of episodes to draw that out until the end of the season either. And they made such a big deal about the blood magic... Still, shows like this break their rules all the time too so...

Eh. I wouldn't call it jarring. They deserve props for being so straight-up (if it turns out to be true), rather than holding off until like halfway through this run of episodes.

She stole Regina's blood in the first episode. That could be how she opened the crypt.

I guess I meant "surprising" to be more precise. It's like, "weren't expecting us to just let most of the cats out of the bag this early, were y'all?"

Anyone else catch that smirk Regina had on her face when they found out Rumple was alive?...

Lana confirmed in her new interview that Zelena is Regina's sister and that there' s no twist in that story.

Just watched the episode. So the Witch's father is the Wizard right? I mean that line about "putting on you best face" is a dead giveaway.

I couldn't help but think they should have used Elsa instead of Rapunzel. I mean that was basically Elsa's storyline in Frozen more than any version of Rapunzel.

I'm seeing theories that the Scarecrow-esque character could turn out to be Belle, actually. Apparently Kitsis and Horowitz said somewhere that her arc for the last half would be about her using her brains in more situations, and what a better way for the Witch to want to use her for that situation.

Parilla says there is more that comes up later in the season that indeed proves that they are sisters:

She's not alone in feeling that way. Many fans quickly jumped online after Sunday's episode to declare that it was all an elaborate ruse. The supposed evidence is Zelena enlisting one of her flying monkeys to steal Regina's blood, which could be used to trick the blood locks used in Regina's castle in the Enchanted Forest and her office in Storybrooke. She'd only have to resort to that if she weren't blood-related, right? Parrilla debunks that theory.

"As we move forward, other things are discovered, and we learn that she actually is her half-sister," she says. "It's quite jarring for Regina. She feels completely betrayed yet again by her mother. She's not too happy about it."

By the end of the series everyone on the show will be related.

Unsurprising Finale Title is Unsurprising

But I love it nonetheless.
