ABC's Once Upon a Time - Part 5

Regina really should start focusing her magic on getting that knife out of her hand

It was a good episode, the OZ parts carried the episode though. It was great seeing the other witches and Zelenas be part of them even though North&East really had no personalities. I know this show loves to make omissions in their adaptions of fairytales but leaving out Dorothys entire journey was just not the right route to go, especially having everything play out sooooo fast in OZ. It felt like maybe 2 days or a week happened there. Of course I want a OZ miniseries but they kind of made that hard to happen (at least with Dorothy). Were those the same slippers Rumple had his own shop?

I dont know if because of the colors helping or what but the OZ cgi sets and everything were so well done and I don't know why we cant get more of something like that instead of a boring not so magical forest.

Rumple killing Zelena and going back to the dark side was a nice little twist though not completely surprising. And he just happens to cause Zelenas curse to take place, how fitting.

I will be honest I am at point where i just roll my eyes at most of regina stuff. They are even wasting emma to build up Regina as savior.

Emma and Hook are so boring to me.

I am big fan of the emma & Henry relationship and now seeing it downplayed for henry & regina doesn't make me happy at all.

Rumple and Zelena carried episode for me.

The ending makes me very intrigued about season finale. Rumple going to jail after scene with belle I didn't see coming.

Not sure why, but my interest in the shows just keeps going down.

If it weren't for Rumple and the cool big bads like Pan and Zelena, I might of given up by now.

This was a penultimate episode if there ever was. I liked it for the character stuff. Charming going all out for his son. Robin showing his bravery. Hook's poor lovesick attitude. Emma looking out for Henry. Henry's belief in Regina. And I loved Rumple, if not turning to the dark side, then at least giving into righteous vengeance. He always keeps his deals dearies. Of course the battle was too easy. It's not the real end of this phase of the story. I liked the twist on the classic Oz tale.

And on a final note... Do good female users of magic always have to have huge boobs? For real... Was that a conclave of good witches or a Victoria's Secrets model reunion?

So, anyone taking any guesses on who they'll end up facing next season?

Hydra. They'll team up with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Skye will actually be Regina's real daughter.

Jafar or maybe Maleficent since True Blood ends this year. There's also was talk of bringining in Cruella De' Ville but I don't know how they could make her Menacing because all she went after was 101 Dalmatians.

Cruella would make a good henchwoman for some bigger bad. A cat's paw for some bigger and more powerful character.

I still want an explanation for the characters being real and not just the creations of folklore or known authors. And... WHERE ARE THE OLYMPIAN GODS AND MERLIN?

They're real.

There's your explanation.

Episode seemed rushed and Regina playing Savior over Emma seemed odd, but I think both of those things might be made to service the finale.

For a second there I thought Pan was going to reveal himself and team up with Zelena. I'm excited for the season finale, at this point anything can happen.

Hahahahaha... But seriously. :whatever:

Even the characters themselves with their curse memories made a note of what I'm saying. "Oz is a real place?" ect. If they had just stayed within the confines of truly old and ancient fairy tales that we have no knowledge of who wrote/created them originally, then fine, no skin off my nose. But Baum was a real man who lived and died in the U.S. Victor Frankenstein is the creation of Mary Shelley. We know this. I'm just saying that it would be nice to have an explanation. If anything it would make the world(s) they have created richer. Might even make for some deeper stories. YMMV of course, oh iconoclastic one. :word:

This episode just showed that no matter what happens, Zelena was always going to be jealous of someone.

And I thought they would spend a bit more time with Dorothy being in Oz, but it just sort of came and went.

After the whole Ariel mess I wasn't surprised at how they poorly handled Dorothy's trip to oz. And I actually wasn't upset with Regina using light magic she has changed, somewhat, and it was obvious she would be the one to take down her sister. I don't think Emma has lost her magic I'm pretty sure that when she needs it most it'll come back. And next season I pray Maleficent gets her revenge.

Maybe the new Villain is Megatron LOL I been thinking that the yellow bug is Bumblebee in disguise. Who wouldn't love to see Optimus Prime coming to Storybrooke.
