So I wonder what the chances are that we'll see Anna pop up at some point as well?

Hmm... Regina likes to use fireballs as a weapon.... Clash of the elements anyone?

Bleh. We already got her in an adversarial relationship with Zelena this season. Putting her at the center of one again would be boring.

Loved it.

spideyboy: Since posting what you quoted, I've learned the identity of the actress who played Young Emma. Her name is Abby Ross and she**did**receive a credit for her role.

Lol you're completely missing my point... The role of Elsa is a higher paid role... studios arnt going to cast an actress for the next season and only show the back of her head... When it'd cost much less for a random stand in to do the same thing

I thought it was so awesome Emma got to meet the "real" Rumple! I love how the writers keep finding ways to still see that version of Rumple, I love it. Robert Carlyle is legend!

@spideyboy: Adam and Eddy confirmed that the Elsa tease was indeed a stand-in, so the point is moot anyway because I was wrong.

DW needs to throttle down. It. Was. A. Stand. In.

As a famous song from a famous film says... LET IT GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

^ I have 'let it go'; I've admitted I was wrong and also corrected myself on stating that the actress who played Young Emma was uncredited because I've since found out her name: Abby Ross.

I find it funny in hindsight that the title of Part 2 of the finale was titled "There's No Place Like Home", but wasn't Oz-related at all. :funny:

Great final, things get wrapped up, each soul mates are now a couple, happy ending and all. I'm glad the Captain hooked the bird, finally.

Some facepalm moments ( I understand why but still ), so everyone is happy and all ( or very close ) but Swan HAD to check the time portal up close, stupidity at its finest. Once back in time, oh let's save a girl destined to die even if I know that I can screw things up even more and of course it did.

Poor Regina, I felt her pain. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and surely Swan and Snow did build a large huge road for her but I doubt that she will get back to her old self, that would be a wasting her character development and when she said "like daughter like mother " she didn't had the venom and hate in her voice like she did when she was the Evil Queen.

I'm fine with the next villain (?) reveal, things will get icy in Storybrook.

^Ha. Mr. X, did you take a college course in puns to post that?

I try my best to use play of words when I can, it is a good exercise for my English.

Edit : and it make me feel like "one of you, one of you" :)

I know that as well.. i'm just questioning your logic, which seemed pretty impractical.

I kinda wanted more back in time Emma...

When talking in the past about bringing them in, the producers usually mentioned them together. Plus in one of the interviews in the last thread, they said they'd be disappointed not to have other characters from the film pop up, so it's likely a safe bet. But they're also clear that they're not going to be ironing things out for awhile now, so things can change.

Emma seeing everyone in their original forms was truly the best part of the finale.

Yeah, as rather fruitless as most of the finale was in the end, that stuff made it all worth it, IMO.

That finale was awesome, dammit. :o

After the last two weeks relied so heavily on Regina, it was nice to focus on Emma and really have her come to terms with things.

Oh, trust me, I didn't think it was bad at all, it just didn't have any long standing repercussions, aside from the character work with Emma, which was well done and something that needed to be done by this time with her. But all the interactions and stuff were great and made it all worth it, so I'm not mad at all.

Mmm. Fair enough.

I liked the finale a lot as well.

The show is pretty boring when Regina is the focus. I find nothing about her interesting at all anymore. So like Sawyer said, having Emma be the main focus again was nice.

I just thought the pacing was great too. Last season's two-part finale was a mess of pacing. Way too much time spent on Greg and Tamara's failed plan, and then a VERY rushed "Henry gets kidnapped/they've taken him to Neverland/we gotta get on this ship and face off against Peter Pan now" tacked on at the end.

I am sad that we are going to be sticking with storybrooke for remainder of the series. I was hoping they would switch it up.
