When I saw the preview I was like but thinking about it it kind of makes sense because doesn't the beast get Belle after making a deal and we know who likes to make deals on this show.

I wish they would quit replacing characters with him, I just hope that if they ever bring in Rapunzel they don't replace Mother Gothel with Rumpelstiltskin after all her parents did make a deal.

I Can never get enough of Robert Carlyle as rumple.

Just because the promos refer to him as the beast doesn't mean Rumple his replacing him entirely.

I for one dont like the idea of Rumple being the beast in Belles story. Why feel the need to shoe horn him in sooo much? I get he is the main villan in fable land but he doesnt need to be everyones problem. I would be perfectly fine with him being the one to turn Prince ____ into the beast. But him being the beast, not so much. Whats next? Replace Ursula with Rumple whenever they get around to Ariel?

So I hope he doesnt end up being the beast. At this point I dont really see why Regina/Evil Queen wanted to get rid of happy endings since there doesnt seem to be very much of them happening. Rumples screwed them all over and made their lives miserable.

Personally I'm waiting a few weeks because there's apparently an episode coming up called "Red Handed".

So Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies and while I hate that Rumple is the beast (they seriously need to leave him out of some things its getting annoying) the episode looks beyond amazing and Robert Carlyle looks set to turn in another great performance! Also excited to see what looks to be [BLACKOUT]Ashley (cinderella) getting engaged[/BLACKOUT].

I'm not fully convinced that Rumple is replacing Beast entirely. That's a fairly bold, somewhat dangerous move to make. Having him kill the Fairy Godmother was one thing, but Beast is iconic. I dont think they would eradicate him from the story entirely. If anything, I might see some sort of division of labor going on. Give Rumple the creepy Stockholm Syndrome angle and leave the real love story to Beast, whenever he may show up.

I think Rumple/Mr. Gold is the Ben Linus of the show. He'll switch from bad to good every so often. His flashback episode made him a sympathetic characters also.

Oh and I would totally kill the king for the evil queen too.

I really liked Sidney's fairy tale life. It was tragic how he got played by Regina and then played himself when he made that last wish. That look he gave her at the end of the ep was pretty creepy. Like he wanted to strangle her to death.


Oh yeah, the guy that played the king is going to be Dr Hamilton in Man of Steel.

I see Robert Carlyle as the Michael emerson of Once Upon a Time.Total scene stealer
who Is best actor on show(On lost I always said emerson and Terry O'Quinn were
best actors on show.Here I would put Carlyle In that postion) and you are surprised
by how Important they are(when Ben showed up on Lost who would have thought how Important he would become and he would be one of longest running surviving characters on the show)

Why do people keep comparing this to LOST I'm out...it has failed to remain interesting to me and I am tired of the awful cgi. If your budget sucks...don't use cgi. I really wish they would have made this a bit more adult and not so glossed over.
