ABC's Traveler

didn't see a thread for this, so I went for it.

did anyone watch the pilot? it was pretty damn good, IMO. tense as hell.

it wasn't as good as the pilots for, say, Lost or 24. then again, few are. but it definitely got me hooked.

thoughts?

I saw it and thought it was pretty damn good. That one scene where Jay is looking through old photos was bizarre. For 2 years this Will Traveler guy manages to cover up his face at the right moment whenever a camera goes off. Obviously he's still alive and the body found in the museum is someone else's. I'm just hoping this show sticks around long enough to have a proper ending.

This show is all wrong!
Starting with the title, it's TRAVELLER, not Traveler.
And the story has to be about a guy who long ago, commited a crime so awful that as became, as punishment, immortal. They make him give up his name and past, which he has long forgotten. He now wanders the world forever, seeking repentance for his sin.

Watched this, definitely has great potential hoping this would go as long as the Fugitive. It has great potential and the lead has a great on-screen personality.

I'm hoping the rich kid would be a developing character and end up not as snivelling. I also hope this doesn't turn into some loony government conspiracy crap and tie it into 9/11 analogy or something.

that was actually the only point I really didn't like. I mean, enough with the conspiracy, people! they're on every show now!

other than that, I really dug the pilot.

Does any one know when its coming back on tv? I hope they don't get rid of it. it was really cool show. I watch just about all of them.

as of now the show is not coming back to abc. Abc never was going to give this show a chance. Back in '06 when it was being filmed abc cut the shows down to 8 and moved it from a fall primtime spot to summer then didn't addvertise it. From what we've heard,Abc is not happy that the show didn't fade away unnoticed. We wont let it. It's to good of the show and the creator of the show and actors sup ort the movement to save the show. The grassroots movement is trying to get the show picked up on another network. first to reair season 1 and try to build a fan base and then work on a season 2.
