I prefer not to touch on this issue not even with a twenty-foot fing-longer.
First of all, who are we to say when life truely begins.
Second, on a moral scale abortion is wrong, yet in reality it is sometimes necessary.
Third, both sides in this arguement piss me off, pro-life has become a bunch of arrogant evangellical *******s who are willing to use violence and pro-choice has become pro-self, ignoring the the most plain and simple fact, there are consequences when it comes to sex. Another thing the pro-choice faction doesn't realise is that when the verdict of Roe v. Wade was announced, it created the most liberal abortion laws in the world. When you have basically unrestricted legal abortion on demand, the only laws that can really be passed are laws restricting abortion.
Abortion should remain legal. If it becomes illegal, it's just going to open up a Pandora's Box of trouble. Women are just going to find someway to do it, whether it's safe or not. Also abortion should be an option in cases or rape, incest, and if the mother's life is in danger. But there should be some restrictions on it. Third-trimester and partial-birth abortions should be illegal. Second trimester should have some restriction but not complete. No restrictions on first trimester abortions. In my opinion, that's really the only way to come up with the best solution in this debate. Neither side can have a total victory because then the other side is going to be extremely pissed off if the other side completely had their way.
