Finally started up with Absolute Batman and I'm loving the reinvention of the character so far. I still don't love his aesthetic, but the way they explain his look throughout the issues makes a ton of sense. Knowing where it all comes from, it's easier to get on board with.

Waited for the trade volume to come out, and now it looks like Vol 2 comes out in Feb. Long wait!

The Absolute books are good. I just don’t read them. It’s hard for me to read ongoing that are outside main continuity.
