Kingdom come is a great story that has everything you've ever loved about DC comics. the only part i didnt like was supes and ww hooking up at the end.

Also, anyone notice how classic ross and waid tried to make the characters? Reverting Dick back to the robin persona, never outright saying alan scotts the GL, referring to characters like flash and hawkman as an amalgam of the most famous personas? Even then, Ross was saying "Screw the new generation"....

We some him desperate, on the edge of madness and despair trying to single-handedly repair Kansas. And then trying to blame Superman when he knew it was his fault. He got angry with Supes because he knew he was in the wrong.

He reforms at the end though.

Oh right, dont know this Jim Corrigan, i am new to DC comics. Only started reading Superman comics because i loved SR.

Reading the notes in the Absolute version I didn't know the Superboy and Supergirl we saw with the Legion was Kon-El and Matrix Supergirl. I also love that Orion scene with him and Superman worked really well together.
