I'm an actor as well, and I can tell you that while websites can be good for gigs, you'll rarely find any good lessons, at least none that you couldn't find in good acting books. The best way to train is to take classes while also performing in shows. If you want, I can PM you a list of books to start off with.

I was joking about being a veteran I have only done small stuff around here but never went big time. I practice practice practice. If I want to sound like someone, I watch their movies and I get it down after a few tries. Some just come natural and I can do them right off the bat...I would say I have a talent.

Those days are gone... My dream was to be on SNL but I am now trying to get into med school because I had to face reality...cold hard reality

Dude, anyone can do anything if they really set out to do it.

I know that comics is what I ultimately want to do, but I'd like to get a few acting parts as well. I'm a comic book writer at heart, and I want to be an actor on the side. One thing I've learned even at 14 is to have something to fall back on. Comics is what I'd fall back on if acting didn't work, because I know my comic business will eventually go far.

I am not open to it happening if a chance were to open up, but as of right now...I need something concrete to look forward to as I make my life. Acting and voice work is not a concrete field I had to realize that.

I am currently hooked on The Venture Brothers and after buying the dvd's and watching them two fold...I can do about half of all the characters now...lame talent but it makes my friends and family laugh.

Not a lame talent at all. Being able to change your voice is always cool in my opinion.

I'm paying for my own college, so luckily my parents had no say. They definitely wish I was doing something else though.

I wish I could do it as naturally as you do. It took a good amount of training for me to get good at modifying my voice.
