First Avenger Action Sequences You Would Like to See?

What are some action sequences that you hope show up in the film?

I hope the climax involves Cap and a groupp of soldiers. Saving someone and trying to stop a missile from launching.

Also you can't have a good action movie without having some kind of chase scene

Chase scene? Okay, now that you mention it, I think it would be awesome to have a chase scene in the movie, particularly one involving Cap on a motorcycle. Captain America and motorcycles, they go together like milk and cookies. t:

It may sound a little corny, but I keep seeing Cap on a battlefield and diving into a mass of German soldiers. They all close in quickly on him then all you can see is Nazi bodies flying every-which way! Then the camera can pan in and show Cap kickin Axis in all his acrobatic glory! Really have him utilizing his shield (initially his triangular one) as a defensive & offensive weapon.

As long as I get some good war scenes where he really gets to show his badassery and what kind of a difference he would make in those scenarios Im game. I want something akin to the intense realistic war scenarios that saving private ryan portrayed, but with a twist. That twist being cap dropping into the middle and tearing up some nazi ass and turning the tide of the engagement. And yes lots of shield bashing and throwing. Everything I saw him do in the ultimate avengers was pretty ****ing awesome and really turned me on the character. That and his ridiculous resolve. When he gets his ass pounded by hulk and keeps coming back for more, that is utter badassery and really made me fall in love with the guy!

. Captain America's first confrontation with Red Skull, which he looses.

. A chase scene with Steve riding a motorcycle, escaping from CIA agents who want to arrest him to disobeying the White House's orders and trying to find Bucky and Nazi agents who tracked him down thanks to the betrayal of one his friends.

. Captain America leading a group of soldiers into an Nazi laboratory where a missile is being developed. There, the american soldiers fight off the Nazi soldiers, Captain America saves Bucky, Kleiser (Red Skull's supervisor) is killed, as well as Zola and Red Skull himself (Who later turns out to be alive). Before his "death", Red Skull activates the missile and Captain sacrifices himself to stop it before it hits the White House, causing him to sink into the cold waters where he's preserved by the ice and the Supersoldier Serum.

Hell yeah! That should be the high action point of the movie. Have him drop off the plane, kick ass on the way to where Red Skull is. That could be a nice, long, epic battle.

i mostly hope they will be able to make fighting with the shield look cool. so far, when people have tried it, it looks lame. like he's throwing a big frisbee. it doesn't end up looking powerful or dangerous.

I want to see Cap falling into the ocean and it's a first person camera view and as he falls into the ocean we see Bucky and the plane fading off in the distance before crash off into the ocean the we see a battle torn Cap rapidly falling towards the ocean, he closes his eyes and whispers "Sorry, Bucky" and he smashes into the ocean.

The screen goes black.

I'd probably cry like a baby in the theater of I saw that. lol

It is one of my biggest wishes for the movie to end with Cap getting frozen in the ocean. That would set up The Avengers movie very well.

With the talk about some modern scenes being footnotes I think it's more likely the film will end with him waking up after falling into the ocean and someone telling him its the year 2011 or something. Then fade to black.

I would probably scream like a girl if that happens...unless the film sucked. Then I'd just be like, "Don't do it Tony. They're going to ruin you too!"

1. Cap, with Thompson Machine Gun in hand, leading the American Soldiers as they storm the beaches of Normandy
2. Cap jumping out of a plane and landing smack dab in the middle of a firefight
3. Cap battling Red Skull
4. I too would like Cap being frozen to be the last scene of the movie.

Imagine if the teaser trailer of The Avengers showed glaciers in the ocean. The camera pans and suddenly stops. It begins to close up. As the glacier gets closer, we see Caps shield. We then hear Nick Furry say "Stark! We found something". "Avengers" comes up on the screen.

Now that I think about it, in Iron Man 2, Stark goes deep into his fathers past, his father worked on the SSS.

[Iron Man helmet clamps down]
