First Avenger Action Sequences You Would Like to See?

totally there is many ways they can handle the whole death/freeze thing.

I'd like to see Cap on a battlefield with a group of fellow soldiers and suddenly they get pinned down by intense machine gun fire from several machine gun nests and soldiers in trenches. Men are screaming and getting killed and Cap goes into action. He raises his shield, gets up and begins to charge in the direction of the gunfire.He's running so fast, that the machine gunners are missing him. Bullets are kicking dust at his feet and he's dodging morter fire and exploding grenades. He gets closer and in one smooth movement, he throws his shield and goes into a tuck and roll move. The shield hits a machine gun barrel, cuts it in half and ricochets back to him as he comes out of the roll and catches the shield. He's at the mouth of trench filled with a whole squad of soldiers. He dives into them as they're firing franticly now, shield front and begins to wreak havock upon them. He's knocking guys out of the trench and everywhere. Soldiers are trying to gang tackle him and he's throwing them off. He throws his shield down the trench and he clears a path to the next nest. He takes out that nest. By this time, the rest of his men realizes what's happening when there's a lull in the gunfire. They get up and give a yell and begin to charge the remaining nest which the guys in the final nest are so awestruck by the sight of Cap, they don't even fire another shot. When it's all over, Cap's fellow soldiers can't believe what they just witnessed and realize that Cap, all by himself, pulled all of their fat out of the fire and they all begin to cheer him loudly.

would be cool. A scene i would love to see probably in avengers over first avenger. is what cap did in civil war when he broke away from shield and hijacked a fighter jet that was wicked cool in the comic. i would love to see something like that in movie.

this might just be a personal thing, but i kinda feel that this movie should have a sepia tone for a sort of nostalgic effect, at least for the scenes involving the war, what do you guys think?

I think down the road, when Captain America ultimately gets reboot, I can definitely see a noir-ish look like Sin City/The Spirit. If you have a black/white/gray motif and have the only characters in color be Captain's red-white-blue and Red Skull's cherry red skull.

That would make for some great WW2 scenes with a grayish backdrop and then a sprinting blue blur running from bunker to bunker.

I keep having this vision in my head of us getting a view behind Cap. He's surrounded by Hydra soldiers. One of them fires a missile at him. Cap then quickly uses his shield to protect himself and blow it up. After the explosion he then hurls his shield knocking out all the Hydra soldiers near him.

after seeing the new pics this sounds very plausible. looks like hes surrounded by Hydra agents, hopefully we,ll get to see something close to what you described.

1) A training sequence. I want to see Steve being trained and mastering several forms of unarmed combat.

2) Cap taking out multiple opponents with a richocheting shield-sling. That's classic.

seems to me that this is going to be more india steve rogers jones crusading for that cube against out period hydra tech and goons and less steve rogers in a world war two movie.

two things about that.

1. considering how much I love the rocketeer, that's not so bad.

2. considering this is a marvel production, It's almost a guarantee.


my one hope is that short emil blonksy demo from the Hulk movie is magnified and put on display in this movie...(no easy task when you don't have LL as the director)
