Actor and actresses you can't stand

i couldn't understand why so many people hated her, but still, i can't really remember a time where paparazzi had stories or photos of her out on drug binges or after a night of hard core partying, she seems like she's always been fairly private

To a degree, I can get why some people don't like her. (Transformers got her typecast as the hot action chick.) But I don't get the hate, even though she's not a great actor. She's likeable and power to her for keeping her personal life private.

I've always thought disliking someone just because of how much fans gush about them is a silly reason. It doesn't have anything to do with the person themselves.

Sandra Bullock
Julia Roberts
James Franco
Jennifer Lawrence

I think you should hate the fanbase and not the actor. Eh, this sound petty to me.

I actually think Robert Pattison is a good actor, but could never hate him cause of his looney fanbase.

Him and Stewart interest me in that they both seem to have talent and do good work when they actually care. Also, I thought it was pretty hilarious how much he'd crap on Twilight in interviews.

Samuel Jackson

I honestly can't think of an actor or actress that I outright hate. I mean, some don't make much of an impression on me, like Sam Worthington, but I don't hate him for it.

I think it's more the performance or character I tend not to like vs. the actor/actress. So for example, Danny McBride and Adam Sandler characters usually grate on my nerves, but I don't mind Will Ferrell as much even though they all mostly play a variation of the loud, abrasive, man-children.

I will probably go to my grave quoting Stepbrothers, while McBride almost single-handedly ruined This is the End for me. I'm sure once he's done riffing on that "mean older brother" persona I'll feel differently about him, but the intentionally-trying-to-annoy-the-bejezus-out-of-other-characters schtick doesn't work for me.

:hehe:

Ah, Scott Adkins. He would be an awesome Batman as long as Batman has three lines of dialogue in the entire film and never shows his face.
If one of them is "I'm Batman", I'll watch it with the widest of smiles.
Followed by a laugh.

I'll say it.

I can't stand Chris Pratt. I think he's smug and annoying and doesn't deserve all the roles he's getting - especially Indiana Jones. He's essentially come out of nowhere and is now leading-man-royalty, and I'm confused by it. He's not a great actor, he's mildly funny, and frankly, he just seems like some chubby nerd who joined a fraternity and started working out so he could get attention from girls. He kind of reminds me of when everyone was hailing Shia LeBeouf as "The Next Tom Hanks", and I was scratching my head over it. Pratt playing Indiana Jones is as offensive to me as Kevin Hart playing The Terminator or Will Ferrell playing Batman.

I don't understand.

Are you implying that Kevin Hart wouldn't make a good Terminator?

I mean, we'll probably never know for sure, but I guarantee he'd be better than every actor in Terminator: Genysis (SPOILER ALERT: Every single person in the movie turns out to be a Terminator at the end! In a subtle rip-off from The Matrix Reloaded--since everyone loved that movie--Sarah learns that Skynet actually wiped out the human race years ago and they've all been replaced with Terminators).

Okay, I just made that up, but still, it wouldn't surprise me if that was how the film actually ended.

James Franco
Reese Witherspoon
Katherine Heigl

I think he's the new Bradley Cooper where he's midly talented but WAY too over-exposed.

Thank God, I thought I was the only one. Every time I see that guy I just want to punch him in the face.

He's only tolerable as a CGI cartoon snowman.

Yeah he has that "I want to punch him in his smug face" look in every picture he's in and every interview he does.

Kind of like Miles Teller.

In fact my new list is

Josh Gad
Miles Teller
Josh Trank
Michael B Jordan

Have you not seen 'Whiplash'?

I hope you're dislike for Jordan and Teller came before Fantastic Four, and not because of it (a movie that's not even out yet.)
