Actors Who Have Real Talent But Got Overlooked in Hollywood

She was Cotton Weary's girlfriend in Scream 3.

That tells me nothing....lol

Looked her up on IMDB.....oh hell yeah, she is good......I loved her in "E-Ring" good series that got cancelled too soon, she was also in the series "The District"......

This is her:

I don't think he ever really got the respect he deserves. Every performance I have seen of him has been great, he is just always in such horrible movies. But, Deacon Frost is definetly one of the greatest on screen villains in a long time. And it's sad that he seems to be falling by the wayside.

Julian McMahon - Don't judge him by his portrayal of Dr. Doom. That role was so poorly written that Daniel Day Lewis couldn't have made it work. Watch Nip/Tuck (the first three seasons at least... the last couple haven't been so good). I've never seen an actor who can make a character so dispicable and so admirable at the same time. Granted, the part is written well, but McMahon is amazing in the role. I don't know why he only ever gets crappy parts when he's in movies.

And to think, you got some posters on this board that actually blame Julian McMahon, as if he is the reason why Doctor Doom was horrible. That bothered me.

I'm sure that under a different director, he would have done a much better job of playing Doom. He's a good actor.

Dylan Walsh is definitely the better actor of the two on Nip/Tuck. I like Julian and all, but Dylan has so much more going on behind those eyes, especially in the new season.

For Dr. Doom, it wasn't the directing, it was the writing.........and Julian really didn't have the grasp of the character that he said he did.....BUT, he is an excellent actor.......I just don't think that Dr. Doom was the role for him.

Sam Rockwell

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind should have made him a star but it didnt.

Have you seen "Joshua?" That movie was fantastic. And Rockwell did a great job in it. He may not be hitting the big time, but he's certainly picking great movies. He's going to be in the new Chuck Palniuhuiuhuiuk movie "Choke," too. That should be pretty cool.

Well, the writing and the directing were both bad, IMO... as for Julian, I've debated whether he just wasn't suited to the role, and to be honest, I'm not sure. I mean, he played Doom as a sleazy corporate exec type because that's how they wrote the character. Maybe he could have played him as a power mad dictator if they had the balls to write him that way, but they didn't, so who knows.

I'm not talking about there, I'm talking about once he became Doom, and yes the writing of the first movie was horrible. 2nd movie, had the 4 dead on, IMO, but so much was cut from Payne's script its hard to know what was what, it flew by, but again as "Doom" IMO, Julian was weak. The voice, it just wasn't there for me. There was nothing regal, strong, booming about it at all.....and YES, the "Marco Polo" line, (added to the first script) BTW, not written. AND "Let's go for a spin" line, (added to the sequels script), Payne was not happy, did not add to any of the above missing characteristics of Doom. So, there were alot of variables, but I think something as simple as a change in the tone of voice from wimpy sarcasm, to a regal, booming, strong voice could have helped the weak writing, at least......alittle.
