You know, I've actually been wondering...what if Kylo is our new central figure, ala Anakin was from I-VI? Like what if they actually let him survive so he can be a part of X-XII and have his arc continue to play out there?

I think his arc will play out.. I just think he sacrifices himself in 9.. He can't come back to the light .. He's to conflicted.. I mean he seems more messed up then Vader was and not only that..he committed that horrible horrible act.. There is no coming back from that.. I think he saves Leia or Rey before taking his final bow in 9.. Or else Snoke kills him before Luke or Rey dispatches of Snoke.

I actually believe that he will kill Snoke, not out of goodness, but with the intention of replacing him.

There isn't much point to it anymore, since Rey will instinctively know to block it with her saber or just absorb it like Yoda.

I've seen a theory from a site that Kylo could be Luke's undercover agent, sent to get full training from Snoke and kill him.

Would anybody be interested in a shock reveal in Episode 8 showing Kylo as an undercover agent for Luke? Killed his own father to gain Snoke's full trust that he has no light in him, which can be a good theme for the things you sacrifice to win a war? That is why Luke exiled himself to allow Kylo to do his thing? I know that theory will most definitely not happen but I thought something like that could be as shocking as Vader as Luke's father revelation.

I thought about that but he has too much blood on his hands at this point.. and it wouldn't make sense that he would pray to Anakin asking him to show him the power of the darkside

Yeah but not in the sense that he would be a good guy character. Moreso just one singular event to end the series ala anakin in return of the Jedi ... I honestly do not know how that would go over though.. At this point the character is kind of irredeemable .

Is it wrong that Han Solo is my all-time favorite on-screen hero and yet I'm loving Kylo Ren more than Darth Vader as a villain? I mean, I really hate the fact that Han Solo had to die tragically instead of heroically (my ideal Han's death was a suicide mission for the greater good). But to think of it, I can imagine that Han was a bad father (and maybe Leia was a bad mother too), so I don't really blame Kylo.

What I think would be cool for Kylo's ending

Darth Vader's grandson is a boss.

And he hasn't even completed his training. He'll be brutal in 8 and 9. I think he'll almost kill Rey in one of them. Like cutting arms off and everything like the old days!

I really loved what we got from Ren in the film. I'm glad he wasn't just this wrecking ball of a bad a$$ like Vader. This guy has some serious issues raging inside of him. I'm a little shocked to see some people saying his character was weak or a chump because Rey bested him in their first duel. This is the beginning of this guys arc which will most likely last for another two films. So much potential for Kylo Ren.

I think Kylo's going to come back with a vengeance in the next one. The baddie always wins the second movie of the trilogy. Vader cut off Luke's hand, Dooku cut of Anakin's arm and wounded Obi-Wan... I think Kylo will be back more powerful and committed than ever.

I'm looking forward to getting something that we didn't get in ESB... or ever really. Dark Side training. We've seen what training a jedi is like and what kind of philosophy they espouse. What's it like to train to be a dark side user?

I suspect we'll see Snoke develop Kylo Ren into a dark side master of sorts, which is super exciting!

My one wish is that we don't see the Knights of Ren tied back to the Sith. I'd like to see them as their own independent dark side group. It would make the Knights feel fresh to the universe and add to the shock that the jedi had that a sith lord existed during Episode One.
