I think we all agree that Singer (or whoever) is really going to have to up the anty in the sequel with the addition of some major supervilliams and I've seen some interesting discussions about the believabilty of Superman thwarting a Darkseid apocolypse...... so what do you guys think about adding more DC heroes into the franchise to help out? Who could be added? Hawkman? Aquaman (already referenced -- ha)? I think this could really help the series come SR 3. I don't see any reason why more characters can't be added. Singer has shown he can handle a bundle of characters yet still focuse on one (cough -- Wolverine.)

Batman, Swamp Thing, The Green Lantern, Shazam, and the Martian (I doubt they would call him Man Hunter in the film). The Martian would require some major changes in the design (like Mystique in Xmen).

i don't think WB has the film rights to Captain Marvel... in fact, another studio is prepping that film as we speak. I kinda wish, and don't flip out at me for this thought, that WB would nix the WW movie and maybe introduce her into Superman's films....... would that get Lois' attention or what???

I say save Darkseid and the other DC heroes for a Justice League movie, if it happens. Right now I want friggin' villains lining up around the Fortress of Solitude to take a shot at Kal-El.

B'sides, you start teaming Superman up with other heroes in his own series, you run the risk of 'sidekicking' the Superman movie series down the same path that the Bat-franchise went pre-Nolan.

And I want WW to be able to stand on its own as a solo movie, mostly because if it does then WB might focus on somebody that DOESN't wear a utility belt or an S on their chest.

I think there are some 3rd tier characters that are somewhat related to Superman. Superboy for one, Black Lightning, Steel (no Shaq please), Strange Visitor, Lori Lemaris, Major Disaster ...

John Henry Irons should make a cameo, maybe a throwaway line about the suit. Kara Zor El could appear in some form or another, ideally as a young non-fighter. A half-finished Bizarro could be Superboy for a few moments (before going Bizarro on Superman's butt)... I think that Superman should be the main, and honestly, only real combatant. The Superman family. That's it. Everyone else should stay out of the Superman franchise, imho.

I like this Superboy to Bizarro idea, GL1.
Yeah, it's way off from the comic continuity.
But the movie doesn't exactly stick to continuity anyway.
It would be a great way to briefly use Superboy without him becoming a sidekick while setting up Bizarro for the next sequel.
Very cool idea.

Superboy will aid his father in the sequel against brainiac.

I just know it.

and that's all it's going to be next time, no other heros, just super dad and super boy.

I'll bet you cash money that Jason doesn't put on a costume or fly in the sequel... PM me :)

I've always liked the idea that if Krypton had not exploded, Kal-El would have been there Green Lantern.

Therefor, place Green Lantern in the film.

I am confident none of the fake Supermen (John Henry, Cyborg, Superboy, etc) will make appearances; though following Superman's death at the end of proposed movie, in the third film, a Bizarro type could come in before Superman's return.

why can it b a justice league unlimited movie then because since we all r talkin about dc heroes it should b a movie of all of them.

If they're going to add more heroes, add Steel or the Guardian. I don't think they'll cast the rest of the JLA just for added value.
