I wanted to tell people to sit down and wait until after the credits to roll. My wife told me I'm such a nerd, but I don't feel that way. I just want people to enjoy the material as just much as I did. :yay:

id say only 20 people left before the after credit teaser.... i was shocked to see soo many stay.

At the midnight show, pretty much everyone stayed.

I saw the movie a second time at a late afternoon on Friday and like 75% of the people left..

Those people didn't know what they were missing. Apparently, they had enough time out of their day for a 2 hour movie but an extra 5 minutes of credits to satisfy their curiosity seemed to be too much for them...

Just enjoy it for yourself. Most people don't care.

Not true. Yesterday I just sat with friends and family and enjoyed it but today I was at two different showings and at the end I stood on the side and said, "there's something after the credits if you care." People were surprised and most stayed. I even chatted it up with a number of them as we waited for those long credits. I swear, I personally helped around 50 people see the Avengers stuff that wouldn't have otherwise and they were all happy and thankful.

Perhaps I'll edit.

I don't care about most people's enjoyment.

the Friday night showing I went to.. 90% of the audience stayed.. and these two people left JUST as the credits were almost done (showing the songs in the movie) .. I was like 'why wait until ALMOST the end of the credits THEN leave?' ... Avengers Assemble dude!!!!!!

I heard a couple "awws " when it said . Captain America will return in The Avengers. that would of been awful but funny at the same time if ended like that.

The majority of the crowd actually hung around. It's starting to catch on a lot.

To the point where people are almost always expecting an after-credits scene nowadays.

...which is why me and my crowd felt like a bunch of tools at the end of X-Men: First Class, waiting around only to get the '20th Century Fox' logo. :o

I'm going today with a few people & were staying obviously

Only Marvel is doing the after credit scenes to their movies. Remember X-men is owned by Fox right now and Spiderman is stuck Sony. Hopefully the other studios will what Marvel is doing and it will catch on. I felt like a tool also when the after credits rolled in xmen.

Cool my theater was packed and I'm pretty sure these are the same people that saw the other films also:doh:

To be honest, I wish they would just show the extra scene right after the film ends. I have no patience obviously. =)

Only 4 people left the theater while the credits rolled. I think most people were expecting something.

Some people at my showing stayed, I only just stayed because I had heard sources that the Avengers teaser was on it.

Normally if I'm really anxious about a teaser I'd stay for the full credits but mostly I can wait for the clip online.

The whole theater stayed at the end of first class it wad a packed theater too... And nothing

I was surprised that just about everyone left in the showing I saw. This is the fourth movie in the Marvel franchise with an after credits scene, it should be common knowledge by now to stay.

I think there was about 60%-70% of the people left at my screening instead of staying after the credits. There was a family next to me who started to leave, but I told the boy (who was closest to me) that there's a trailer after the credits, so they stayed and watched the early credits (one with the flashy animation). But after that, their mother apparently was impatient, so the entire family ended up leaving anyway. Too bad they missed out.
