Age of Ultron Age of Ultron SPOILER thread, DO NOT enter if you don't want to be spoiled!!!

Ugh. I shouldn't have read the spoilers. Now I'm furious with Whedon for bringing Quicksilver in just to kill him off after one film. Now I'm stuck with Fox's Quicksilver, which is basically Impulse.

I guess my hope is that **** about Quicksilver having regenerative powers is true, but apparently he doesn't pop up at the end as a member of Cap's Avengers team. I figured he'd be a perfect entry into Inhumans considering his romance with Crystal and MCU's lack of Johnny Storm.

Where is this from TK?

@Darkphoenix Is QS 100% dead?

I might be in the minority but this vision hammer thing sounds cool. Complaining about it being stupid is kind of ridiculous with the whole context. It sounds like Vision might be channeling an infinity Stone and brought to life by Thor. If true it makes sense that he'd be as powerful. And since he's always been pure "hearted" the hammer is sensical too

I am all for it but I have reservations it will happen.

The QS situation is likely ambiguous enough to pick up on should the actor return for another film.

DarkPhoenix82 does Vision hold the hammer? Also which avengers gives Ultron the final blow?

I guess they are deciding whether they need QS in the future. If they don't he's dead. If they do, he will return.

Dammit Fox, not only you screwed up your Quicksilver, you had to make Marvel kill off theirs. Goddammit

Okay, just a few questions if any of you have seen it so far, some specific things I DO want to be spoiled on (although with having to wait 2 weeks after the premiere and a week after Europe gets it, I'm sure I'll end up getting spoiled by osmosis about most things anyway);

1. Is "Avengers Assemble" or a similar phrase said?

2. Is "ULTRON WE WOULD HAVE WORDS WITH THEE" said?

3. Any references to AoS, Ant-Man, GoTG or other Marvel properties that don't have MCU Avengers members yet?

4. Is Ultron's voice filtered or unfiltered?

5. How big of a role do the supporting characters from the solo films have?

What is the big line in question that Hawkeye says, which apparently is the "best one" yet?

Man I really didn't want Vision to hold the Hammer, Apparently that scene stole the show from all the other Avengers so I'm guessing it must be epic

Fox's quicksilver can Become MCU quicksilver
Remember the age of the kid in Xmen and what year it was
Avengers takes place 30years later

Rhodey suiting up is pretty much a non-surprise given the Hot Toys figure of him in the armor, as well as him being all over the tie-in action figures.

1. Is "Avengers Assemble" or a similar phrase said?

Steve tries to say it in the end, when he's speaking to the new team. He says "Avengers", opens his mouth again to an A, and then the blackscreen slaps on with "movie by joss whedon" over it.

2. Is "ULTRON WE WOULD HAVE WORDS WITH THEE" said?

Nope

3. Any references to AoS, Ant-Man, GoTG or other Marvel properties that don't have MCU Avengers members yet?

nope

4. Is Ultron's voice filtered or unfiltered?

filtered

5. How big of a role do the supporting characters from the solo films have?

hardly to none at all. Rhodey is having a few fight shots in the end and there's Heimdall talking cryptic stuff in Thor's vision, but basically they're just there.

Came home with horrible headaches, so I'm not in the mood to read up the last pages. Any new questions, come hither.

what did you think of the Nat/Bruce relationship? was it well done?

Does Vision speak much?
How does Bettany's voice sound?
What are Ultron's origins? (Hank Pym? Chitauri? Shield?)

Is QS definitely dead or is it ambiguous?

Going by the last few pages, he's clinically dead, but they mention he's got regenerative cells, which likely gives them a way to write him back to being alive. That is, if Aaron Johnson does return for a future film.

Wanda's costume in the final scene?

Vision's screen time?

Thankfully we can all live happily knowing this will never happen

Hello, long time lurker but couldn't resist the chance to ask about spoilers. :) Thanks for doing this!

At what point do Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch turn against Ultron? Is there any gap between them going against Ultron and actually joining the Avengers? How do they earn the Avengers' trust?
