Daredevil kinda messed up my expectations for this movie lol. It's starting to sound like a simple popcorn flick. I'm mainly curious about Vision, though, now.

I'm sorry but like it or not, Fox's Quicksilver was very well received. Almost every review I've seen of Days of Future Past sites the Quicksilver scene as a highlight. I get it's not what you expected and you're entitled to your opinion not to like him, but they hardly "screwed him up". They screwed up Deadpool in Origins, they screwed up Pheonix in X3, they did not screw up Quicksilver by any means.

Is it realistically shown that Clint could have this whole other family? Does Tasha know about them? I guess I got a different vibe from the first one.... and suddenly this....

Anything between Nat and Cap about their stronger connection?

The Bruce and Widow stuff... is it out of left field? I just don't see her talking marriage and kids. Yes a good friendship, and in the clip with her helping him relax, thats what I saw.....

What happens to him at the end....Is it over?

DoFP QS was nothing like the character, what are you talking about? He was closer to the Flash mixed with some random kid off the street. He was also a waste; moving that fast, he could have stopped Trask or anything else they needed. He was mainly used for a "cool looking scene".

The MCU has really improved leaps and bounds over the past year. Aside from The Avengers I really felt none of the films lived up to the first Iron Man- largely due to the shared universe aspect creating a sort of a uniform tone that didn't necessarily work for every hero.

However in the past year we've had 3 of the best installments in the MCU so far (TWS, GotG, and Daredevil)- showing they've really fixed the issue of quality with their solo outings. Because of this I'm sure if Avengers is going to absolutely blow me away again. From what I've seen in the trailers (aside from the first one) it feels like there's just a lot of hero shots and I feel Whedon's a bit pretentious to begin with.

This may be a good thing because going in expecting something average and getting excellence is the best feeling a movie can give you. Being said though, I'm more interested in what the Russo's will bring to the table with Infinity War I and II.

Just because they went for something different with DOFP QS doesn't mean they screwed him up. If they were going for a direct character translation then it would be a screw up but they obviously weren't. RDJ Stark improves on some elements of comics Stark; that doesn't mean they screwed up those aspects as they were obviously going for that when they recruited RDJ and got him/allowed him to play the role like that.

Agreed. I wanted to slit my wrist watching that scene.

X-Men were my fav hero team in my childhood, now I hate it intensely.

So its basically the Avengers being the supporting crew delegated too Mass robot cleanup duty....
While Vision does all the heavy lifting and gets all the glory....Just what I feared....
Hell lets just give him Thors hammer(oopps sorry they just did) , Caps Shield, a few Stark toys and send him after Thanos because clearly the others are completely helpless and Vision will save the day.........

Vision has just been announced to make a brief appearance at the end of Ragnarok to deliver the killing blow after receiving the Odin force since Thor has been defeated and unable to continue......

After he defeats Ultron does he try to pick up the hammer only to realize that he can't do that anymore since he could only use it in desperate hours? That's how they handled Superman lifting the hammer.

Not really just another case of taking quite a bit of liberties with others special gifts so a certain member can shine....
I am waiting for more info to come out but so far I am a bit perplexed....
