Is Aida making some kind of interdimensional brain?

Chthon is fascinated by science and he powers the DarkHold. Aida would be of huge interest to him as one of his experiments; creating a technomancer is right up Chthon's alley.
Mephisto is interested in souls, not robots.

but she's not a robot she's an android. and the book was able to communicate with her. in binary. so she's not just some machine.

So...androids have souls, just because they have the human form?????????? Interesting. Not. Maybe the book is not connected to souls, but to intelligences. Simple as that

man I liked the episode, so high caliber, everything is taken seriously, made good and presented with heart.
anyone who compares AoS with the CWTV crap should be ashamed.

"Android" just means "robot that appears human". So yes, she's a robot. And since we don't even know yet how to truly classify intelligence and such, who's to say "just machines" can't be intelligent? Or maybe a "soul" just manifests whenever an operating system gets enough complexity. There are plenty of people who think humans are nothing more than complex machines or who simply don't know what even is the exact difference between intelligent life and complex computer programs.

Or maybe letting a simple text recognition computer program on your PC look at it would also work. Who knows.

I feel like the book itself corrupted her or gave her actual life.

Why the hell would the spirit of Vengeance/Zarathos/the Rider/whatever need Robbie Reyes to settle his own scores? Couldn't he easily use Mack or whoever for that purpose?

I almost always feel each episode is better than the last but this really was a great one. So many good stories happening and they keep giving us action answers and more questions all at once. Wish we had more than just one more ep. before a break again though.

Fitz is the best.

I'm assuming next week will be Robbie's last?

Really curious to see where the whole Aida thing goes though.

Really hope it's not a 3 month break. That would suck.

I hope not, Ghost Rider was the main reason why ABC didn't can Season 4 of Agents of Season by now with its crazy rating scale

This was a terrific episode and probably the best in the season for me, so far. Really disappointed that Mack didn't stay the Ghost Rider, that had a lot of potential. He totally fit the GR mold as the cool mechanic but with a SHIELD twist, who is a badass in his own right(the guy has a freaking Shotgun-Ax!). And why didn't they show Mack-Rider using that badass Shotgun-Ax to take those guys down? So much missed opportunity...

I assume since they're actually advertising this season as "Agents of SHIELD: Ghost Rider" he'd be in the entire season and not just 4A.

Not necessarily, they often advertise parts of a season that way. I remember a Fallen Agent one. I think there was one towards the end of the first season as well.

That annoyed me so much. All this talk about the Secret Warriors, they form in a lack luster episode and then never form again. Completely pointless. I was hoping they would be the black ops strike team consisting of Quake, Mockingbird, Dethlok, and whatever character they would want to add.

Mack saying:
"My axe is plenty sharp.... AND a shotgun." was possibly the greatest line delivery, ever.

It was all a big lie really.

On this one we are in complete agreement. I like Daisy/Quake better than most people and Yo Yo's limitations make her my favorite TV Speedster. Melter had a unique power set that looked great in live action and Mockingbird looked like she stepped out of a comic book. AOS also had decent versions of Hellfire, Absorbing Man, Deathlok, Madrox (kinda) and Blizzard available to round out a solid B-Level team of heroes. I have no idea why they didn't follow through.

Another really good episode, catching up on this season and the few episodes have been superb.

I don't know much of what happens next, but Robbie is pretty much Ghost Rider for life in this universe, in AOS terms at least.
