I already feared they would drag the secret out for too long. Glad it seems like they are revealing it to the rest of the team in the second episode already.

I'm surprised they revealed it so soon. After successfully hiding it in episode one, revealing it in episode two is a bit of whiplash. Then again, the season is halfway over, so we're building towards the end and it wouldn't make sense to start something too late without having time to finish it.

Yes they definitely are. Sif got shot with a shotgun at point blank range last season and it did nothing to her. But Coulson might have an icer and he may think it would have a better chance of succeeding where a normal gun would fail. Otherwise he's just acting out of desperation.

I recall hearing that shotgun blast bounce off metal, like her breastplate. I don't think they're bulletproof, the shots just bounce off strategically placed bits of armor.

I think the Asgardians are bulletproof, Loki didn't even attempt to cover his face when the SHIELD agents used their weapons on him, you could say it was his suit but it doesn't explain why he didn't attempt to cover his face.

Anyone take a look at the casting? That guy from Warehouse 13 is playing a character called Vin-Tek. There is a Kree in Marvel comics with a similar name. That guy is a Kree. Maybe he's come for Skye's powers! They could use her in an inhuman army or something.

Given that this is a trailer, it's no guarantee he was holding the gun on Sif. Could be 2 bits of film put together. Maybe he's holding whoever is after Sif.

I was going over a list of Kree character names, and there are many that are hyphenated in the same manner. The only one I saw with Tek at the end was a Bav-Tek, who is a member of the Kree Resistance Front.
