Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Will Tie To Avengers: Age Of Ultron

There's also Gonzales who is anti-superpower. AoS 2.5 might be giving us a look at what we might expect from Civil War.

yeah i remember the other episode when talbot talked about the avengers and those with super her o powers..

is next week episode supposed to tie in going from the promo?

I think it will be Coulson locating Von Strucker - we'll have Ward in the next episode - and communicate the info to Fury or Hill.
And the Avengers will attack them to start the movie.

I hope for this! Good call!

EDIT: Whoops, wrong thread.

As far as AoU ties with AoS...I'm hoping it's more than just a quick mention of events. It would have to be, honestly, [BLACKOUT]considering Fury is back commanding a Hellicarrier at the end of AoU![/BLACKOUT]

Was there ever an indication that Agents of SHIELD wasn't going to tie into Age of Ultron? It's already tied into every other Marvel movie from The Avengers onward.

The Avengers: Coulson's resurrection/the whole theme of living in a world post-"Avengers"
Iron Man 3: Extremis plotline in the pilot
Thor TDW: "The Well"
Captain America The Winter Soldier: "Turn, Turn, Turn"
Guardians of the Galaxy: The Kree being shown/mentioned

I'm more curious to see how the show will tie into stuff like Doctor Strange and Black Panther, if it sticks around long enough, that is.
Left out the Sif and Loreli episodes for TDW

Just watched AOU
Dr List appears alongside Strucker at his base in Sokovia

I too just watched AOU. AND

AOS Does lead into AOU because in the beginning scene of AOU the avengers are fighting HYDRA

Yeah, if I remember well, Captain America hit Dr List. (or maybe Iron man)

I think it will also be connected to (spoilers from the end of AoU movie)

The new Avengers HQ. In one of the episodes in AOS they mentioned that Coulson had bunkers and some other stuff, that if he was building a place to train superpowered ppl he would need it.

Well, the episode coming this Tuesday will apparently reveal the Theta Protocol (Coulson's project in question involving the bunkers and such), so that could be one of the Age of Ultron nods.

Was so disappointed at the lack of Coulson's team in AoU... This crossover should be good though, List has got to get back and then there's the whole Helicarrier deal...

Yeah, it was, but I guess it was necessary. I mean, the whole Ultron threat is jump started due to Stark's fear of his Avengers friends dying, and that fear arguably harkens back to Coulson's death in the first movie - Tony was, after all, the one closest to him of all the Avengers. Knowing Coulson was alive, then, would substantially diminish Stark's fear and, thus, take away the punch needed to bring Ultron to life.

I have to say that I appreciate the slew of spoiler tags here. :)

After Watching Avengers Age of Ultron

Fury with the hellcarrier and a few friends hes grabbed from SHIELD
What does that mean for Coulson and even Gonzales NuSHIELD.....
(I see Fury still kept the classic logo)
So many questions

Gotta admit, though, it's driving me crazy not being able to discuss AoU as it relates to AoS, US premiere couldn't come any sooner! :funny:
