Please, please, give me anything you´ve got on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2! –Ana
I can confirm the rumblings started over at io9 that Adrian Pasdar and a big, fake mustache will reprise the role of Colonel Glenn Talbot in the season opener.

he back and he be angry......I bet that the US military will order him to stop hunting Coulson and the team because they did save some military official so that should be taken into consideration

One can only assume that he won't be taking that news lightly.

it seem like Alphonso “Mac” Mackenzie will be another recruit to the new SHIELD probably part of a operation team

I just can't express how excited I am for the Kyle MacLachlan casting and of course, as a long time Whovian I'm pretty intrigued by the 'name' of his character ;)

Well, dang! AoS is getting some really interesting casting done. Really excited about Kyle MacLachlan joining the cast, he's a recognizable name and face and I hope the role he's given lives up to expectations.

I can't wait for this show to return!

Just started to catch up on this... does the whole season have this freak of the week feel? Coulson, Hot 'New' Chick, and Fitz/Simmons are awesome but everyone else (main cast) is just ok or bland, nothing bad but...

no. it is not a freak of the week show. it may seem that way at the beginning of the season, but you'll soon see how it all is connected. and they took their time to flesh the characters out. by the time the season wraps they are all pretty layered.
which episodes did you watch already?

The show at the end of the season is completely different from the show at the beginning. Stay the course, even if you're tempted to give up. You'll be rewarded for it.

I'm on episode 7 right now.

Yeah... I know TWS helped it a bit so I'm totally in for the long haul. The cool character moments and the action keep this from ever really being dull or anything.

Wow, Kyle Maclachlan and Henry Simmons joining the cast! Along with Lucy Lawless this is shaping up to be a great season. Maclachlan does sinister very we'll so he should be an excellent villain. My only reservation, and it is small, is that they may be wasting such a physically imposing actor like Simmons. It almost seems like he should be a powered character like Luke Cage.

Maybe Marvel has someone in mind for Luke Cage.

Henry Simmons? As who? Back in the day he seemed like someone who could've played Luke Cage. I don't know how he is now.

Definitely seems to be getting better actors this season. It's a shame some of these weren't part of the regular cast in Season 1, or at least having some better actors for some of the main roles. However, now that we've seen them over a whole season, I can't really imagine changing them now. But there could've been some other main characters in addition who would've boosted the cast.

I really hope Deathlok gets a better look this season, and not just looking like Laser Tag Man with a black jumper and slacks.

Press release linked below your post says he'll be a mechanic, Alphonso Mackenzie, who'll be a recurring ally of Team Coulson, and presumably will be a part of the new SHIELD.

I wonder what going to happen to Trippett? he has not been talk about much

This has been bugging me too...other than the (apparently false) rumor that he was spotted on the Avengers: Age Of Ultron set, there really hasn't been much talk about BJ Britt lately. Particularly in relation to Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D..

However, Marvel's Executive Vice President/Head Of Television Jeph Loeb was interviewed at Comic Con, and said that BJ Britt will be appearing in season two. He didn't exactly go into detail, though:

But, tvline.com had the following:

According to exec producer Jed Whedon, Triplett “will be around a lot” when the ABC series returns on Tuesday, Sept. 23 (now at 9/8c, remember!). Chiming in on how Britt instantly sparked with fans (as well as Miss Simmons), EP Jeph Loeb says, “You always have hope for characters, then when people ‘pop,’ you’re like, ‘Oh, that’s cool’ and you steer toward that.”

He featured fairly prominently at the GOTG world premiere. He was taking pictures with fans, and acting as if he were the star of the show.

That's true...I forgot about that...lol

real late to the thread, but any takers on this bet: Ward, by the end of season 2, is infused with the Tahiti project and suffers memory loss? Therefore Coulson, Skye and co. can rebuild him?
