Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD TV series for ABC - General Discussion - LEVEL 11 - Part 4

Luckily, my recording of the special didn't go to any special reports, instead listing election results on a ticker below the screen. Interesting special, and they didn't ignore X-Men & Fantastic 4 as some people thought they might've done with this.

I laughed so hard at this! I teach AP Government and will be using it next week to explain voting behavior. Thank you!

I've seen some people indicate it's up on Hulu Plus right now (if it hasn't been mentioned already)

(note that this is for the United States/Canada - not sure how the schedule is working out for the rest of the world)

Agent Carter (which is only 8 episodes) will start in January and will take Agents of SHIELD's Tuesday timeslot while AOS is on it's 'winter hiatus'

Agents of SHIELD is not on this week, due to a Marvel 75th Anniversary special that's being shown (though apparently this isn't being shown in Canada and they're getting episodes (reruns?) of a different show instead). Episode 7 will be on next week (Nov. 11), Ep 8 will be on the week after that (Nov. 18). It won't be on Nov. 25th (according to SpoilerTV.com) due to Dancing With the Stars having a 2 hour season finale.

After that it's not completely clear and some of it depends on whether they want to get to episode 10 or episode 11 before they start their winter break, but at the very least we'll have a couple episodes the first few weeks of December before the winter break starts.

After Agent Carter finishes it's 8 episode run (which should end in February), Agents of SHIELD will return for the remainder of it's season.

Hope that helps

Thank you silvermoon! I watch it on the internet, so I follow the North American/Canadian time schedule.

According to some they should have spent most of the show patting Fox and Sony on the back.

Couldn't see the special; I love in Holland. And can't find it on the internet:facepalm:

Ohhh the ******** was thick last night.

I thought showing a Spider-Man and X-Men comic when they mentioned about optioning their characters to other studios was clear enough what they were implying with to me there.

only saw like 20 minutes of it, due to the annoying election commercial breaks

Thoughts on the Marvel Special:

Positives:
1. Good Content
2. Good Narrator
3. Stan Lee

Negatives:
1. Major Scheduling Conflicts with the Marvel Special and Election 2014- the annoying interruptions from Election 2014 interrupts the flow of the special. When ABC cutted in middle of the special during the history of Captain America to Election 2014, the Election 2014 people spent 10 minutes talking. After the footage of Election 2014, ABC skipped 10 minutes of the special to the middle of the history of the Incredible Hulk. Due to Election 2014, the special ended at 10:00 p.m. EST when they were talking about the production process of Iron-Man, that was in 2008. They skipped the footage of Age of Ultron and Ant-Man.

2. Slow Pacing of Marvel's History

3. ABC's commercial breaks

4. Election 2014

Marvel is certainly making good use of their one-hour weekly slot on ABC - A weekly series tied to and promoting the MCU, a mini series featuring a character appearing in both of their Summer 2015 releases and two hour-long infomercials.

People sweating the week to week ratings need to factor in the promotional impact of the show on the multi-billion dollar cinematic universe.

Aye it pays to remember that keeping the brand fresh in everyones mind is no doubt a factor. In that light the show itself could be viewed as an (expensive) long form advertisement.

This is my guess on how the schedule breaks down for the rest of the year

Ep 9- Dec 2nd
Ep 10- Dec 9th
Ep 11- Dec 16th
2 Week Holiday Break
Agent Carter
Ep 1- Jan 6
Ep 2- Jan 13
Ep 3- Jan 20
Ep 4- Jan 27
Ep 5- Feb 4
Ep 6- Feb 11
Ep 7- Feb 18
Ep 8- Feb 24
AoS
Ep 12- March 3
Ep 13- March 10
Ep 14- March 17
Ep 15- March 24
Ep 16- March 31
Ep 17- April 7
Ep 18- April 14
Ep 19- April 21
Ep 20- April 28
Ep 21- May 5
Ep 22- May 12

Zero breaks in the 2nd half of the season.

Well I was somewhat correct.

Fall Finale is Dec 9th (http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/11/abc-fall-finale-drama-episode-dates.html)
Agent Carter starts Jan 6th
AoS returns March 3rd

The highly-anticipated "Marvel's Agent Carter," starring Hayley Atwell in the role she first brought to life in Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger," will premiere on ABC Tuesday, January 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Then, once "Marvel's Agent Carter" concludes its eight-episode run, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will return to ABC with all-new episodes Tuesday, March 3 at its regular time, 9:00 p.m. ET, to complete its action-packed second season!

lol I found it on Face Book lol I have alot of Renaissance Faire friends that are very out spoken about the Government lol

I hope Agent 13 guest stars , seeing Emily Van Camp on the set was nice and makes me wishful.

I thought she looked very pretty and also liked seeing her on set too. She needs to get more full time into Marvel especially if Revenge ends next year which I hope it does.

I suppose Fran Kranz does bear a similarity to Speedball.

Moviepilot writes long articles that are pure speculation held together with prayers and guesses, often disregarding known facts that would prove them wrong.

So...while I HOPE this is true, and even a broken clock is right twice a day, I don't consider Moviepilot to be a good source. They can throw out 1000 articles that are just made up in their heads...and being right once or twice won't indicate that they are any better of a source.

well, to be fair, the article makes it very clear that it is all speculation

Also to be fair, that alone should be why very little credit should be given to this.

Chloe Bennet on Twitter:

Today was a game changing day on the set of #AgentsofSHIELD wish I could tell you. But I would get fired and I really love my job so bye.
