problem is.. this isn't "just a tv show" it's part of a movie franchise that they are taking very seriously... so yeah.. no.

You're the one claiming that she needs stealth. I'm struggling to find the examples of missions so far where she has needed it.

And give me a break. It doesn't ruin ANYTHING in the movie universe if Bobbi wears a white shirt. Crazier stuff than that happens in every movie thus far. In fact, you'd likely have ZERO problem if Bobbi showed up in Civil War wearing a white shirt...because somehow she can wear white when she's standing next to certain people but can't when those people aren't around.

Honestly the white hindering her stealth isn't something I would ever have given any thought too.

id like it white, eventually.. but again.. right now she's "just a shield agent" we've seen widow go from basic shield agent with gauntlets.. to her own unique costume now... (she also wasn't just "any ole shield agent") right now.. Bobbi is just a highly skilled shield agent with no separate identity beyond that.. I can see why they wouldn't want her to start standing out too much compared to the others.. hell, she hasn't even been called "Mockingbird" yet on the show.

um ok.. it's not just stark.. it's the team.. the brand. Stark has nothing to do with it alone.. so not sure why you went there... it's ok, you don't get it.. and i don't think anyone could explain it to you.. so if you think it's dumb, go right ahead and think it. I have thick skin, you're just annoying, and the convo isn't getting you anywhere.. so not sure why i'd want to subject myself to more of it? t:

and never said "a character" every character is different.. it's all situational as other's have pointed out... SHIELD agents at this point and time don't want to stand out. it's that simple. Now... if Bobbi was a freelance agent or merc (like Hunter) it would make much more sense to do as she pleases.

nvm, heratic, i thought you were talking about the blue part.. basically they just swapped white for grey with her comic look.. it makes more sense for now though none the less... it's darker, and less in your face. But if she does ever become an avenger... or a public figure/hero i want her wearing white for sure.

If I recall, someone involved with the show mentioned that they were putting her in grey...so my brain always goes there despite the color clearly actually looking blue. My mistake. In an hour I'll call it grey again because...its like when you keep singing a wrong song lyric even after you find ot the real words. Blue actually is a better color if you wanted to go stealth than black is, from what I hear. Something about black being so dark that it doesn't actually blend in with typically dark areas.

I totally get why they would want LESS white...but mockingbirds have white breast areas...so a white shirt would make me happy.

But seriously...how awesome does a show have to be where the only complaint I can come up with is a color choice in the wardrobe department?

Although it looks grey in that photo, in live action, because it is so dark, it really barely looks grey at all. It blends in so much with the rest of the costume that it practically looks monotone at times. I remember when she was fighting AOS's version of Whiplash, Marcus Scarlotti, and Bobbi's uniform really didn't look any different from the other standard SHIELD outfits.

Surely they could've had it an open jacket, which could be zipped up at times, and Bobbi could've worn a white shirt under it. That way, if she wanted to go into stealth mode, she could zip it up, but the rest of the time she would prefer to wear it open, exposing the white top underneath. Then we would've had a more comic accurate look, and people who complain that white doesn't work for stealth wouldn't be able to complain, because she could just zip it up when needed.

her big secret! what all do you guys think it is?

-She's dated Hawkeye or been trained by him (maybe Hunter isn't fond of him) She seemed adamant that hunter not know over anyone else... I could see her hiding that to not hurt him

-She's a spy for Stark/the avengers (both options could give us her code name btw..

-She's a Skrull :-P haha

-She did something dark and dangerous and bad, in order to get higher up in HYDRA

-She's keeping eyes on the team for Fury

-She's reporting to Hill

they did set up her name sorta, when hunter mentioned she's got an amazing memory. But that's as much as they've done with her "mocking" ability. She's basically a female Taskmaster isn't she? with a photographic and kinetic (i think that's the word?) memory?

Her love life has nothing to do with her secret...otherwise, what does Xena being dead have to do with it?

They have hinted that she's done some dark things to win the confidence of Hydra. But then again...of course she did...I'd expect nothing else.

She is not secretly a triple agent. That would be a bit over the top.

My guess is that Fury, Stark or Cap have her keeping tabs on SHIELD and making sure that things are being run correctly. Fury seems obvious, but they just used that gag last season with May. My guess/hope is that her secret involves whichever side she picks for Civil War. I don't see how it would play into Ultron unless they get to that very quickly.

He said "bate me" tee hee! Sorry, I just had a tonsillectomy and am strung out on pain meds. Everything is funny, but it hurts like hell to laugh.

her working for Fury, Stark or cap would make her a triple agent... (well, at least when she was at hydra she would have been a tripple), working for hydra, working for shield working for fury/stark

Mack is the key there. He asked if they were going to tell Hunter, and then brought Xena into it and mentioned her death. Why would Xena's death have to be mentioned in regards to a romance with Hawkeye? Maybe Mockingbird, Mack and Xena were WORKING with Hawkeye?
