Just finished up the first part of season 3. I love this show, can't wait until it comes back.

I just say Natalia Cordova on Twitter following Shay Sanford (a Key Hair Stylist currently on Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and WendiLynnMakeup (CELEB MAKEUP ARTIST 4 FILM/T.V: Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D) :D

I just posted this in the Agent Carter section but the first season of Agent Carter is up there with Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and AoS S3 as some of the best superhero TV we've ever gotten. And I'm so happy to finally say that about AoS.
Season 1 got really good when TWS changed everything about SHIELD, and while season 2 was overall better, I felt it dragged in some areas. I'd catch myself looking at my phone or getting side-tracked while watching which is never a sign of an engaging show. Then again I'm someone with a bias against network TV - the overall format is one that I find innately corny and dated, but I know that's just me being a spoiled millennial.
But Agents of Shield has improved in ways that are downright startling. I think Fitz has become my favorite character and I never thought I would say that; the episode where
Simmons finally told him the truth about falling in love with the man stranded on the other planet was one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen, particularly due to the ending. Fitz greeting this news not with sorrow or self-pity, but with a fervor to get him back, was the biggest "**** YEAH!" moment I've ever had with a TV show. I relate to Fitz for his unrequited love for Simmons, and I respect the hell out of him for handling it like a man and treating her right at every turn.

I also am super interested in

whatever returned from the other planet in Ward's body. The imagery we had seen of this monster was so mysterious and eerie, and seeing it return in Ward's form was almost as shocking and satisfying as finally seeing Coulson put Ward down. Ward is a truly great villain so I'm happy to see him stick around, even if it is just his carcass.

Hot DAMN I can't wait for this to come back.
I'm putting all of this in spoilers because I really want anyone who isn't watching season 3 to give it a chance - I'm someone who was a casual fan/viewer before, but this has become the first show to become appointment TV for me. I like it so much I shelled out $40 on itunes for the season pass.

*EDIT*

Nevermind, posted on the previous page.

Natalia Cordova-Buckley (“McFarland, USA”) has joined “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” as Elena Rodriguez, a tough, street-wise Colombian woman given Inhuman abilities and based on the character Slingshot from the “Secret Warriors” comic series.

So, there's a villain in this teaser with the power to kill people/turn them to stone by looking directly at them. In a show about secret warriors. When we're getting slingshot. Why does he look nothing like the Gorgon then? Is it because he's a Wolverine villain?

Uh... which one is which?

And how does AOS return on March 8 already? I thought there were 10 episodes of Agent Carter this time. March 8 doesn't seem like it will have reached its 10. Are they going to overlap or are they showing extra episodes to finish the season more quickly?

We've had up until episode 7 now. If we have episode 8 next week on the 23rd and 9 + 10 as a two part finale on the 1st, then it'll be finished exactly in time.

I thought it was only up to episode 5 last week. They must be airing more than one in a week to finish it sooner.

Agent Carter had episodes 6 & 7 yesterday, they're going to double up again next Tuesday with episodes 8 & 9 airing back to back and then the season finale (episode 10) will be on March 1st.

Looks like there will be a few weeks then that I'm watching both AOS and Agent Carter in the same week, as I've only watched up to episode 4 so far.

Marvel's Most Wanted logline (WARNING contains possible hints to the future of Lance and Bobbi on AoS)

LOGLINE: Centers on Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. These two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy. CAST: Adrianne Palicki, Nick Blood, Delroy Lindo.

I understand why DD is such a popular show and at this point can easily recite what it is makes it such a well produced show. I also more than get what turned people off AoS's first season ad while it's sad to see how often it is written off or ignored when talking about the MCU (the next time I see Jessica referenced as the MCU's first leading powered lady I might just start throwing Daisies at them. I mean I know it will just come off as really freaking weird but it would make one hell of a point) I know what it is caused people to have that impression.

But knowing a show is generally considered good or bad doesn't mean that much compared to the actual viewer's experience, and as unpopular an opinion as it might be I find AoS to easily be the second best MCU show. It's only beaten out by Jessica Jones and a lot of the appeal of JJ is how it functions as a singularly driven story more like what you expect from a movie or miniseries than a serialized format. I just love the characters and, honestly, I feel like the have finally proven they actually do have a good balance of overarching plots and week to week stories even if you'd never believe that if you only see the first half of the first season. It's like the whole show was just on slow burn but now these characters are engaging in a way DD just lacked for me and they have found a great story that works well in this serialized format, something Agent Carter isn't always so strong with (as a miniseries it seems to fluctuate between telling a single story and trying to service the week to week parts - I actually feel like season 2 is a major improvement here as they have done a better job centering the show on a single threat and introducing it straight away instead of dragging out the mystery in the earlier episodes).

I.. I honestly have no idea what to do with this information. It seems to imply so much but then I have to believe that AoS is leading in a certain direction with the characters that will make a huge impact on the cast, but that will never be resolved on AoS itself.
