She has another one on the same arm, near her wrist but I can't make it out.

Ward is not one dimensional, he just has a really stiff personality.

Agent Hill did a very detailed assessment of your last three missions. Combat, top grades. Espionage, she gave you the highest marks since Romanoff. Under people skills she drew a... I think it's a little poop! With knives sticking out of it.

WHAT?

That's bad right?

i guess im the only one that has liked skye from the beginning. i love coulson the only one i really still dont really care for yet is ward. Im sure he will grow on me eventually

You are not alone

same here..Ward started to grow on me after the magical place..but still don't like him and May together..

I just started watching the show again, because the first few episodes bored me and I will admit the show has gotten alot better, but problems still remain.

First the good stuff. The writing and dialogue has improved by leaps and bounds. They have found a way to make marvel movie humor make since in a TV setting. The pacing of the story and the quality of the storyline has got alot, better. I really want to know who the clairvoyant is and what skye's origins are,and who the blue guy in the tube is. Which when the show first started I could care less. The dialogue between the characters has got alot more believable as well. though the making jokes in serious situation where life or death is on the line still feels weird outside of the movies.

Now the Bad stuff. Ward,Fitz-Simmons and Skye still are flawed characters who look like they dont belong as Agents of Shield or in the Marvel Universe as well. They tried to create these emo characters to appeal to 18-30 yr olds, these tweeny bopper characters, dont make since in the Marvel universe. They may make since on other shows, but not this one. Agent Ward should have been someone more like Captain America,RDL or the Bill Paxton Character. Fitz and Simmons should have been just one character and probably older. Sky probably should have been a guy and older more like the Mike Peterson character. I think character archtype mistake is not fixable, this is not trueblood its a marvel universe show, there attempt to appeal to twweners is falling flat, give us the same type characters from the Marvel Universe or other action flicks like the Expendables.

Another problem is the lack of Marvel characters anybody cares about. In Arrow we got Malcolm Meryln,China Whyte,Slade Wilson, Huntress and Deadshot all in the first Ten episodes of season 1. Lady Sif is the most significant charcter they have had,Deathlok doesnt count most people at a comic con convention wouldnt know who he was. I understand that alot of their characters are tied up in production for movies or the netflix series but it still hurts the show.

The show is still an ok show and a good show if your a comic fan, its on DVR status, but could graduate to must see if they get more Marvel characters I like. I dont tjhnk Skye,Fitz,Simmons and Ward will ever grow on me. I love May and Coulson, becasue they look like they belong in the Marvel universe and if Mike Peterson, Bill,Agent Tripp all get more screen time it can all work out on the character front.

I liked Skye from the first episode. Hell I like the whole cast. It took awhile for me to warm up to FitzSimmons though.

If anything May is my least favorite. She's cool but really dour and taciturn.

I have been binge watching the past few eps and have to say, I really like Ward; the binge viewing lent to his ongoing arc. I think the sporadic schedule lent to my railing against the perceived absence of depth to some of the characters. The show is finally firing all cylinders.

Lolno

Skye was my favorite character before the show even started. In fact, she was my favorite character when Chloe Bennet was first cast. It's cool how that hasn't changed one bit since actually watching the show.

I found her rather annoying early on, and I'm not really a fan of the "special snowflake" status that this show has given her. However, she's grown on me in recent episodes (her scenes with Coulson last episode were quite good imo). And if she turns out to be Jessica Drew (please Marvel) then I'll like her even more.

Skye was the only character I liked at first bar Coulson.

The first is just Roman numerals for: 8 - 1 - 4

The second is a latin phrase: "fata viam invenient" meaning "the Fates will find a way."

I'm guessing this is the birthday of a niece or nephew or some other event relevant to her, ie 8/1/04

LOL I didn't squint long enough. I just wrote it off as Elvish and figured she was a LOTR fan :p

Yep... they're "emo".

And there's no such thing as 20-somethings in the Marvel Universe! I totally forgot about the plague that made it impossible to have children after 1990...

Lol.

Margaret 'Peggy' Carter, from 'Captain America: The First Avenger'...played by Hayley Atwell. Ring any bells? :hehe:

Is Peggy short for Margaret? Or Peggy's just a nickname? I always thought that was her proper name. How does one get Peggy from Margaret? Otherwise why isn't she Maggie Carter? Or Magna Carter? :woot:

I don't really know the exact details, but in the UK at least, 'Peggy' has always been a nickname of sorts for women named Margaret.

I suppose it was like that way before our time.
