Alcohol ruins so much...

Update.

It's all good. They sobered up and made up. Crisis averted.

Stepmom barely remembered what happened. Dad told her, and she swore off alcohol as well.

The fight was her special father's day gift for your dad. :bomb:

I swore off alcohol after a crazy, violent night 50 or 60 times.
I'd hardly say "crisis averted" if physical violence is what booze unleashed in them.

I like these sitcom threads only 30 minutes later and the situation is wrapped up a neat little package with an important public service annoucement at the end. :up:;

Considering alcohol usually brings out the things that are lying underneath anyway, there's a pretty good chance this would've happened either way.

People who get into scuffles when they're inebriated, usually don't when they're sober.

I beleive consuming alcohol is a very stupid thing to do as well as a complete waste of money.

Disagreed. I love alcohol, and going out to a bar or somebody's house for drinks. There's nothing wrong with going out, drinking, and having a good time with friends. Provided you're not a ****** to begin with and don't let it control you, you shouldn't have to worry about it. :o

Alcohol makes you get arrested for making faces at police dogs.:csad:

The issue is that a lot of people can't control it, but the argument is, "if I could control myself when drunk, there would be no point."

The thunder rolls, and the lightning strikes.
Another love grows cold, on a sleepless night.
As the storm rolls on, out of control.
Deep in her heart, the thunder rolls.

There's something you want to tell us? :ninja:
Maybe you should visit the embarrassing music thread. :o

And I love that song.

I don't know about other people but I always know what I'm doing when I'm drunk, I have no problem controlling myself. I've done and said stupid things when I'm drunk, but I've never come anywhere close to crossing the line and hit anyone, drove drunk, etc. It's a personal thing, and I have never accepted the excuse that "the alcohol made me do it." The person likely had problems to begin with.
