ALIEN vs. PREDATOR: SURVIVAL of the FITTEST

I can't wait to see a Teaser Trailer. I heard that this movie will be totally different than the first movie. Survival of the Fittest is suppose to be very bloody and really intense. I can't wait to hear more on the film. Has anybody heard anymore about the production or anything of that matter?

The new interview with the guy playing the main predator was pretty cool.

The good:

1) Learning the directors are huge fans of the original.
2) Seeing the the awesome pics of the new predator costume (w/ helmet).

The bad:

1) Finding out they got the same guy from the first AVP.
2) Learning that this guy doesn't have the dance background or perspective that made Kevin Hall's performance so gracefull and animal-like.
3) AvPGalaxy - "What is it about the Predator that appeals to you?"

LOL. I don't think they are bad guys, that's part of the appeal. They are the villains by way of the narrative (they oppose the hero), but they are not evil. They simply view humans as an inferior species worthy of hunting. They come to earth and immedietly take our position of Big Daddy of the planet. That's the appeal.

Like I said the guys answer is lame. I wouldn't expect anything else from a big dumb jock. Kevin Peter Hall was a serious artist. That's why his performance was so memorable.

this movie is doing the unexpected..its actually sounding like a return to form for both franchises. It's REALLY shaping up. I've been following news on this movie religiously and frequent the imdb boards as the directors are on there. Not giving much away obviously, but I'm definatley psyched.

AvP 2 will own. Indy 4 will own. Shame about Die Hard looking so mediocre however....

Ok, the Predator looks great. Not so generic and not a hulking monster. Love the slim look, and the skin is great as well. But damn... the Alien sucks. The Predator improved, the Alien got worse.

And what the hell is he doing? Does he plan to shoot the Alien at this range?
