All Black Suit

Anybody besides me like to see the all black suit incorporated into continuity. I figured since they changed frome Kanes black on grey to blue on gray to back and forth again, it wouldn't be farfetched for them to change again. I just think the all black thing is way more relative to what Batman is, a dark brooding, scary bastard. I don't know it just.... if a guy in grey spandex jumped out on me, I would'nt be as afraid as if it was like keaton or bales suit. Plus, I was looking at Cassandra the other day, then I looked at Batman and I was like,"damn, between the two of them she looks creepier". Anybody else feel the same?

Batman's costume was all black for a few years in the late 90s. I'm not a big fan of it myself. It looks great in live action, but I don't think it looks nearly as good in the comic pages.

I liked the all black bat look. Actually it would be really nice if they had kept that way.
But I don't really care, some of my favorite Batman stories have Batman dressed in blue and gray.

All black like the early issues of JLA is great. I'd definately welcme it back. Black and gray also works.

All black with a mouth piece, o and red wings that come out of the sides, and of course a bat symbol, but make it look like the Batman Beyond one and make it red. And forget the cape. up:

I shall warn you that most of the pics that I have of this suit are from Kelley Jones though.
I like him but he is not very popular on these boards...

I had a busy day but now I finally can post this.
This was the first comic where Batman appeared using this all black suit, notice how Nightwing and Robin comment on his new suit.

^Indeed, in a darker gray tone than the one that was being used before.
The best part was that the trunks had finished.
And you can see that Kelley Jones and Graham Nolan, both maintained the cowl, boots, gloves and cape in blue, only using a darker blue.
I'm not a big fan of the yellow oval though.

Actually, I was looking again, and saw that Jones had not used any distinction between gloves and boots and the rest of the suit. Nolan used the darker blue to these parts.
And in the first two samples, both had added fins on Batman's boots.

The pics that Batamulco posted make modern Batman (from Jim Lee's, Churchill's, Jeph Loeb's, Alex Ross', etc) look like a little puss puss. That all black **** is insane. Yo Batamulco, why did they change that ****? Then turn around and make Cassandra all black??

If the all black had worked in the comic then DC would have kept it; that they did not is indicative of the fact that the original concept is the superior design.

Quite the contrary, dear chap. After further exploration into the nuances of the other photographs, it seems as though I overlooked a serious detriment to my arguement. The cowl, unlike the rest of the protagonists wardrobe, was blue. This was obviously a malfuntion on the part of DC's designers. How jovial! It could, however, work if the cowl was black as well.
