The Dark Knight All signs lead to an amusement park confrontation

it would be great if the movie ended with an amusement park confrontation. But so far, I don't see any real evidence on it, nor have I heard anything about Joker's Candy factory hideout (which could be cool too)

Read through this entire thread. There's been quite a bit of evidence.

This theory is becoming more unlikely by the minute. I found this cool picture in TKJ though. :woot:

Shards of glass flying everywhere and not one hit Joker...

i love this amusement park idea...it would be epic
but i also have to agree with a few people that it isnt very original
people have mentioned comics and animated tv series episodes that did it already
and know that i think about it the 3 way showdown between the joker, batman and the phantasm in batman: mask of the phantasm
took place in the gotham of the future theme park
complete with roller coaster, lights, music, traps, and toy-like bombs

Just becuase something was done before doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.

EVERYTHING'S been done before. It all depends on how you use it and what changes you make. What you add or take away.

Not that hard a concept to grasp guys.

I don't actually think there will/should be a final confrontation between bats and joker in tdk, i think the tension will carry over to the 3nd film where ledger will probably be sent to arkham, then at the end of that film, have the long awaited battle in an abandoned fairground or candy factory. I just dont want them to blow the whole joker load on this movie alone.

I kinda agree... In the early comics joker always "died", but the body was never recovered etc, so I wouldn't be surprised if the candy factory was the finale? Maybe an abandoned toy factory or something? Who know... But it explodes, maybe joker "dies" with no body recovered.

But what are all the "signs" leading to an amusement park confrontation!?

The joker drives a truck from an amusement park.... But that's all the evidence we have, right?! That isn't especially concrete, now is it!?

You know that part in Hush, where batman beats the crap out of joker, beats him to a bloody pulp and gordon has to pull a gun on batman and talk him back to sanity. I thought that would be a fitting end to the series, where bruce finally snaps, and joker whos been causing death and havoc thruout the 2nd and 3rd films is pretty much psycho that wont stop. It would be interesting to see bruce trying to choose between his own convictions to the logical answer, killing joker to stop him killing others. would be a brilliant wrap up to nolans trilogy.

Except that Two-Face is the main villain in the third movie.

Okay, so not to insult the integrity of this thread, but since we pretty much know that the final fight is in the middle of the street, here's something new to talk about:
How do you guys feel these actors would do for another Batman relaunch in say 10-15 years.

Matt Damon - Joker
Zac Efron - Bruce Wayne /Batman
?

In 10 to 15 years Matt Damon will be in his 50's...

His FIFTIES DUDE!!!

Also, how do we "pretty much know" that the final fight is in the middle of the street?

I don't think the final fight should be much of a fight though... Joker's skill, unlike R'as, is not in fighting, but in shooting people and blowing people up etc.

Is he really that old? Oh man, you're right he'll be too old. Idk i just thought he might be a good Joker...
As far as the final fight is concerned I went down set spying 2-3 weeks ago and the PA's told me it was the final confrontation between Batman and Joker and it was in the street right after the Semi-truck flip. Take a look in the Chicago Filming: New/pics, etc. it's all posted there, but it will be far back.

Yea there was a big long article on him in the sunday times over here and they said he was 37.

Regarding the truck flip...

I thought that's where batman kicks his ass and joker gets arrested only for him to escape from his cell with help from the fat guy with the bomb in his stomach?
