The Dark Knight Michael Caine Gives Away Secrets of The Dark Knight!

So anyone else calling BS?

Maybe Alfred hits the Joker over the head with a 9 Iron?

That should be a running gag in the series:woot:
another great post jimmy

can anyone else see a conversation between alfred and the joker happening?

well heath must feel perty good about how Michael Cain talks about him. It's nice to get a compliment but from Michael Cain WOW

If they stick to the comic version of Alfred, he won't be an easy win. Wasn't he a combat medic? Or has that been retconned to something different now?
BTW, not to derail this thread, but has there been a story arc or even a one shot about Alfred's backgound? Like a whole issue with nothing but his pre-Wayne service days? That might make a nice read.

It's totally BS.

Totally BS.

jimmy for the thread win.

Yeah, cowleen brings up a point. First of all, it's a Dangerous Inc. thread and that already justifies skepticism. Secondly, the source comes from moviewebs.com, and even though it looks like a professional site, it has a fan-made TDK teaser poster listed as an official one, which puts its validity in question.

Shortly, this will spread across the tubes and become rumour, then fact. We'll have people shrieking "ALFRED IS GOING TO DIE! CONFIRMED! CONFIRMED!" These will likely be the same people who didn't stay after the credits in Halo 3, and are now running around the web crying "THEY KILLED THE CHIEF! WORST ENDING EVER!"

I love the internet.

ZOMG!!!!1111111`~they killed the Chief?!?!

That poor old Alfred is finally going to succumb to some made up disease. Damn you McGregor's syndrome... damn you...

No, dude. Here's why: the general public is like 5 years behind us bat-fourmites, in terms of news. By the time people actually READ this, the movie will already have hit theaters.

And if they do think A-Fred's going to kick the can, I gotz one wurd for dem: NEVAH!

They will never kill off Alfred. He's too important of a character in Batman. Killing him off is like killing off Thomas Wayne....again. I sure hope they don't do it thought.

Didn't Caine say that he had a lot less to do physically in this movie?

Why would he then say he had an "altercation" with the Joker just after that?

Maybe it's at the penthouse party? We know that both Joker and Alfred will be there in the same room.

Maybe at some point, Joker targets Alfred and threatens him with his knife. "C'mon, Jeeves. Give Uncle Joker a little chuckle." And Alfred says "I, sir, wouldn't give you the satisfaction." Then Joker frowns and goes to kill Alfred, and Batman drops in.

Something like that but with better dialogue would be awesome to see.

Alfred cannot die ! Who would reason Bruce then ? Who would be his clear conscience ?

He was justing f**king with the interviewer. That's what happens when you humor Caine.

I'm not sure !!! Seemed pretty honest about the altercation ! Then when he realized he'd give away too much away he stopped and joked !

Altercation was one thing, the Alfred dying statement was another. When the interviewer is idiotic enough to ask such ridiculous questions, you either put him in his place or you play along and act mysterious.

I am probably on the minority here, but I actually think that if the joker was to kill off alfred it would open the door for a younger one to come in and take his fathers place in the wayne household.

a little nod to the golden age.
