That's harsh.
He had a hand in writing Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, two successes after a list of mediocre movies - duds.
He might surprise us again with another big hit.
Goyer needs a better writer to edit his ideas. When he's on his own, it's a disaster most of the time. Some people think all of the time.

He's OK on a story advisory level but IMO he hasn't written anything good in over a decade and even his best work (BB, Dark City) had other writers doing the work as well. So I really doubt he'll ever surprise us again. MOS was his chance and he blew it. Good riddance I say.
I'd still like to see more stories done by him as an adviser/writer, with a better writer tweaking his work.

Holy ****...this thing is going to be on about part 350 by the time the movie releases.

I hope they wait as long as possible with the first teaser and release a proper one, because I just know everyone will compare it to that AOU teaser and it better measure up. No 30 second teases with nothing substantial in them. (I got bored of the CC teaser after 2 viewings). Though I have a feeling that's whats gonna happen. This movie will have 3 teaser trailers (Bats, Supes and ''general'' one) and 4 normal ones I bet.

I have to disagree about the CC teaser. If they're going the teaser route, I think it's pretty perfect. It does a fantastic job of building the tension and shows just enough to heighten anticipation. Also, I can't personally recall a more epic stare down on film, and I hope it's representative of the overall tone and feel.

Maybe it's the LQ of the footage available that isn't doing it for me past the initial viewings.

A Book series could be printed based on posts ! :shr:

You are right. I noticed that the Avengers board was outdrawing this board for a couple of days when the trailer was released but now this board is back to dominating the number of people viewing.

I'm not sure if SHH will be able to handle the traffic when this movie's trailer gets released....

I remember when the All Things Batman v Superman: an open discussion first opened up. It was back in the summer of '13. We all huddled around our laptops listening to the Warner Bros comic con panel, that was back before it was free and televised like it is now. Those were dark times...literally...we were kept in the dark on everything. I remember afterwards taking my best girl down to the corner store for a malt shake...back in those days they were only a nickel.

Once i have watched this movie and the justice league. I will be extremely content. I would have seen all i have ever wanted to see in comic book movies. Doesnt mean i will quit watching cbm's but the anticipation and hype i have for this two films will never be matched for the rest of my life.

So...dat teaser trailer is happening. The Hobbit will have a lot of people showing up...
