@roach: Why do you say early rough cuts mean a bad editor? I'm curious, because I don't see it.

Usually reshoots happen after there's a rough cut of the whole movie. If they already have a rough cut they have a baaaad editor.

Way to early for a rough cut. Could just be an additional scene added by Zack and Terrio to add to the final cut? Potentially....

Do we know the editor for this?

Yes. David Brennar is the Editor. Worked with Zack on MOS. There is no way there is rough cut for this film yet. Let's not jump the gun on an editing problem. Especially this early in the process.

Nope!

Ahh new thread. Smells nice, there's always those amazing pics..

Not a rough cut, but there could easily be an assembly cut or something close to one. Typically the editor is cutting scenes throughout the shoot, as the footage comes in.

And yeah, the whole purpose of the assembly cut is exactly for this reason. It's an extremely long cut, often around 4 hours that includes everything they shot. This allows the director and editor to figure out if anything is wrong or missing.

This gif and your signature make me think: "I wish Robin Williams had a cameo in Lego Batman 3".

Have ya'll read the latest Sony leak? It states Jeff Nichols possibly directing Aquaman for some reason. Oh, and some Spidey details as well.

An October 21 email from De Luca to Pascal also (potentially) revealed some directors for upcoming superhero films, many of which aren’t even set up at Sony, including Jeff Nichols (Mud) as director of Aquaman, and plans for Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie) to helm a The Amazing Spider-Man 3 in 2018.

Nice, I loved Mud, and his other two films have General Zod and good ratings. I'm good with him!

You need to do this in the JL threads when we get pics of Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash & GL to add into the mix.

Affleck's next movie is The Accountant. Filming will start in January and it's another WB production. Batfleck's character is an assassin and I read first 30-40 pages and there'll be some flashbacks... So???

From Jim Lee's recent tweet:

"Happy Holidays!"

Still not the holy trinity picture we want, Jim. :o

Wouldn't it be completely mind blowing if the Accountant was a cover for them actually filming a Batman movie? More likely, this is probably designed to show the general audience how badass Ben Affleck can be in hopes of convincing nay sayers to go and watch him as Batman. Still, a guy can dream...

I just realised that that the New Horizons spacecraft will arrive at Pluto about 8 months before BvS at the theatre... :awesome: Granted that the New Horizons was launched in 2006, but it is crazy that we have to wait for nearly 14 months...:argh:

That would be pretty crafty on WB's part.

No they're actually filming The Accountant. :funny:

Superman & Batman teaser trailers-

Superman (1978) - rather unique as a "teaser" in 70s as the film was about a year late and they need to drum up interest. I saw this teaser a couple of months before its release, I remember hitting my friend and almost shouted, "Look! It's Superman!":lmao:

So about that casting call for a young "Bruce Wayne", has it been suggested it could be for...

Damian Wayne?
