That was fantastic. THAT is atmosphere. Soldiers kneeling to Superman, a clear presentation of the film's themes, intelligent soundbytes, great visuals...Alfred sounds great. Batman sounds badass. They're likely hiding his voice a bit, and this voice, you can already tell it's going to have a bit more true emotion in it. I love the idea of Batman's crusade against Superman being a misstep, and the idea that perhaps Superman inspires even Batman.

Never thought about that.

Actually what really gets me isn't the voice, rather it's what he's saying with the voice. It's just a little TOO sinister for my type of Batman. Usually when Batsy says something like that it's in context, but seeing as that's the only thing we've heard with that voice, it seems a bit off.

This might sound mean and dismissive but I don't really mean it that way because I like 95% of people on here; I don't feel the need anymore to try and convince people of anything one way or the other, I'm too old for that ****.

One of the wisest things I've read on hype since joining. It becomes especially true when you realize it's not even as "real" as social media. The day you become concerned about convincing someone named Mr Nuzzlehead who has a picture of a winged pig for their profile...is a loco day indeed.

This is set in the USA. Heavy-handed religious reaction is not uncommon here. Also, Kansas is in the Bible Belt.

Even outside of this board I find myself always having to defend Snyder/MOS/The DCCU.

Marvel has their claws into people deep. I just read someone say that GOTG should be the default template when it comes to tone for the DCCU going forward.
