Even if some of the reaction is negative, I bet it's going to linger in their mind and they're going think about it on some level. Things like, was it really that bad? or finding something that's interesting. Making people curious and open to make another judgement is still a win for the trailer.

Woot, part 155

Off the internet, all my GA friends like MOS (so do I).

All my GA friends also like TDKRises (I don't).

The GA tends to be a lot more forgiving of comicbook films than we are. They are just in it for the ride and the fun.

I like DKRises, but I pretty much agree with all of this. :oldrazz:

Part 156! More than 2 parts in 24 hours!

Trailer almost has 10m views and not counting the 7m from the bootleg. Not bad.

Whatever, guys. I'd like to know where YOU find a good portion of GA opinion on the internet.

Folks who take the time to argue about this stuff on youtube likely aren't members of the GA -- most of them anyhow. Forget the internet; you probably have friends and family members who aren't into comic book movies. Try them.

For as much crap as we give the GA for making stuff like Transformers a wild success, I honestly think their sense of entitlement is about 1,000% lower than it is in fanboy circles.

Plus however many views on Twitter that don't get tallied for whatever reason.

Sawyer put it best... 28 to 1. I am relatively new to the online world and it really does appear to me that these forums and the comments sections of things are really hothouse environments. The opinions here wither and die a lot of the time in the real world.

A perfect example of this is my own reaction to SPIDEY 3. I really dislike that film with a passion... But in reality is it a crime against art or something? No. Ask the majority of non fanboy/girls and I think the most negative reaction you'd get is... Meh. Not hatred. Indifference.

I just showed the trailer to my older brother. I wanted to get an opinion from someone who doesn't comics or CBMs as much as I do. I don't know if he loved it, but he said he thought Batman looked pretty cool, like a better version of the comics.

Trailer just hit 10 million views on Youtube :mnm:

And hit a Million on the MovieClips upload, and half a million on the JoBlo upload. 17.5M on Facebook (which doesn't double count views unlike youtube), and stupid twitter doesn't provide view counts.

I read in some comment it is simply unrealistic for batman to stand a chance against superman even with his years of experience and training

Do ya'll think we get something new with Mad Max? The extended Imax teaser.

I read in some comment that if you don't pass this comment on to five other people you'll die in a horrible accident. But if you pass it on you'll get a kiss from your true love the next day.

really prefer not to die before seeing BvS!

It's a shame that won't be factored into the way many perceive the total view count.

I don't know how this works, but do they ''WB'' count the number views form the other trailer channels? Movie Trailer Clips and others also have a ton of views for the teaser. I know they get paid for a total number of views.

Whatever their reaction, it's forgotten when the next sporting event, reality TV show or boyband concert comes on rather than becoming a life threatening injury and permanent insult to family name that requires a lifelong grudge and eventual vengeance! At least that's how I was about X3 for a while. :woot:

That's a complaint that always crops up. Those people fail to realize that this is a world of fantasy where anything can happen. Sure, it's "unrealistic", but so too is Superman as a stand-alone character. He's a flying alien that looks like a man with a pair of glasses for a disguise. BvS is based on fictional comic book characters; it's not District 9!

Is that saying if your true love is dead you'll die by passing it on?

Or you'll be kissed by a random stranger who you didn't know was your true love
