I'm more worried about the toy sales than HC's hairline. :o

I hope we get a look at the Movie Masters soon.

Sooo... I think Cliff Chiang drew the most Affleck-looking Bruce Wayne to this date.
I made the cleft chin for better comparison :o

Looks like golden-early silver age Bruce.

^ Dangit, I thought that was an official DC announcement of some kind.

Like Green Lantern was officially announced. Not the FleckGarner split.

LOL. Same here.
I couldn't care less about the split.

EDIT: Sorry, Nolan

People are still making lame-ass jokes of the divorce announcement I see.

Not to dwell on the topic, but man, I tell you, being a celebrity may have its glory but it really does destroy any chance you have at a normal life. All that money, fame and glory comes at a serious price, people wonder why these celebs lose their minds sometimes and go into depression. Thats why I would never want to be a public figure, at least not to that extent.

Its too bad they split. They seemed happy, best of luck to them both.

WB give us an action figure, an announcement, anything! Or we will be forced to get excited by El Maybe and MoviePilot :D

Is there any chance in hell that this might not be true? Like a People magazine fabrication of some sort that has spiraled out of control? It's a bit weird cause the magazine says that they made an announcement but not how, like through a publicist or sth? I doubt Affleck and Garner personally called People to give the news. Is anyone hoping that this is the case?

I'm gonna speculate a bit here but I'd say it's really tough when one partner's career is really taking off like Ben's and he's in constant demand with a schedule that allows little to no downtime and the other's career is on the downswing and she's at home raising kids by herself for the most part. For the foreseeable future Ben is locked into several commitments that will require almost all his time. His career, his advocacy and philanthropic work, it must be a lot for the wife to have to compete with for his time.

Shame about the split. But at least they seem to both be playing it classy and aren't dragging each other's names through the mud.

I agree, but I think they both tried to make the most of their efforts to juggle family and career. I remember during the time we posted pictures of Ben in his thread while he was filming the movie, he would always fly for the weekends to LA from Detroit and would get photographed taking his kids from school or the whole family out shopping and other activities. We would always marvel at his ability to do that but he would also always look beyond exhausted. Jennifer said in an interview that he had messed up the production of BvS for a week, only so he could take their youngest daughter to her first day of school. And it was just like a month ago that I read an interview of hers for Yahoo about how she was the one that encouraged him to go and do Gone Girl, BvS and The Accountant while she cared of the kids, more so that she was happy for him and that he also encouraged her to do the same when he finished doing them and that he would take care of the kids during the summer, that that's what worked for their family. When one partner worked, it seemed like the other parent took the primary care of the family, but I think they both were very hands-on parents . To their comfort though, and fans like me, they are reporting the they will continue to live under the same rough and share joint custody of their kids. I believe that, they've been photographed all together as a family shopping just last week. Am I crazy to think that there's still hope for them getting together if they're doing that?

Purely speculating... but I think Ben might be having a rough year, and I'm worried about what it might be. When I saw his interview with Bill Maher, I didn't see a man confident and passionate about the issue; I personally took it as roid rage. It just seemed to come out of no where.
And then this documentary thing, where he really comes off as a bully who tried to strong arm the creative team into presenting the story the way he wanted it.
Then, trouble at home... when it seemed so stable before.
I dunno, I personally suspect that Ben might be bulking up with supplements and they are taking a tole on his overall temperament.
